Hi Violet! The 50 Gal. Stacker Box is made of Polypropylene plastic, and is designed for general household use. This item is not waterproof, air tight or bug proof, but the latches will keep the cover securely fastened to the base to keep contents protected.
Can 76qt stacker bin can be stacked on top of the lid of 50gal as tandem(side by side)? As 30qt can fit perfectly on top of the 76qt

If using it outdoors, we suggest you cover it with a waterproof tarp, store it under a roof, or inside a garage, shed or other building to help prevent drying out from sun exposure, and to keep moisture from penetrating the unit.
