Because of the high density of engineered wood, these doors may actually be heavier and stronger than some solid wood doors. The thicker the door, the better it reduces noise transfer.

I’m adding my thoughts because previous reviews helped me. For a home depot prehung door I thought it was very decent. Not five star because it’s not like you’re getting a custom built door. It comes from China. But mine were square and solid. Can’t complain for what I paid
