On your outward swing doors, should the threshold be on the inside, side of the door?
We utilize a bumper sill to ensure water doesn't come in. The sill is inside the room.
Does this door come with the slidable pins on the fixed door to hold it in place? If so, are they finished the same as the hinges?
Yes, it has an astragal on the inactive door (no handle) that locks from top and bottom of door. They are stainless steel and will not be seen when door is closed. when door is opened, they will be visible, but it is flush to astragal so it will not be a visual nightmare.
Can this door be installed either inswing or outswing?
No, this door cannot be installed as either inswing or outswing. The threshold and sill are specifically designed for a left-hand outswing (LHOS) application. Reversing the swing would compromise the door's ability to shed water properly and may lead to leaks or damage. If you need an inswing version, then an inswing version (LHIS or RHIS) should be ordered.
With both doors open, is the center support in place or attached to one of the doors for unobstructed access?
It is attached to the inactive door.
