What type of water filter is recommended?
Consult a local plumber to see what you have for minerals in your water and then install the proper filter. Calcium and sediment are the 2 most common elements to protect your water heater from. I am building a pole barn style garage. I plan to have a shop sink and an outdoor shower. I am in E. TN. What model would suit me best? I will have a 200 A service. Looking at the Tempra 15.
My first thought was the Tempra 15 Plus or the Tempra 20 Plus as long as only 1 fixture is running at a time. IF you want both to run at the same time, the demand of hot water would lead you to the Tempra 24 Plus then. How many showers can this unit handle? I have 4 showers in the Condo.
This is not enough information to size this properly. Please call the office at 800-582-8423 ext 6. This heater can draw 150 amps. Do you have the electrical service to install this heater in a condo. We do not recommend this heater on a 200 amp panel.
for the 36 Plus model, for a temperature rise of 50 degrees, what is the minimum flow rate. would appreciate an on line response.
