These hammers are absolutely the best. Anyone who swings a hammer for a living can tell you that these greatly reduce the negative vibrations to your hand and wrist.

Stiletto was sold to Milwaukee Tools. The all titanium hammers are still manufactured in the USA. The hickory hammers are out sourced. Still made to stiletto specs. Worry not.

                    I feel it’s not real.
The nail puller I received doesn’t say titanium under the stiletto logo. I’ve had it since April and it’s already messed up pretty bad. I don’t know if there are different versions of them.

Like many others, I found it hard to believe that a simple tool like a hammer should cost this much, so here's a few details that may help support that. The Stiletto 15 oz. TiBone 3 is made of Titanium, which is as strong as steel, but about half the weight. Titanium, is also half as rigid as steel, making it less desirable for structure, but for a hand tool it offers more flexibility. More flexibility equals less rebound and fatigue to the user. I'm prone to tendonitis and use injury and whacking away with this hammer on nails or other objects is a delight and doesn't tire my arm out. I'm a DIY-er, so I'm not using this on a daily basis, but I can safely say that if my occupation relied on using this hammer, it would be a godsend. Speaking of occupations, if you're a framer and using a hammer day in and day out, you probably go through hammers on a regular basis. Considering that even the best wood or Fiberglas handles only last so long, it's easy to recoup the cost in replacements alone. Some interesting features on this hammer include a replaceable face piece an additional nail puller and a claw that just seems to have the right amount of curve to it. There is also a "nail starter" that holds a nail in a groove on the head via a small, strong magnet. One swing and your nail is set and ready to drive home. The hammer, apart from the replaceable face, is cast entirely in one piece and the handle is a comfortable, but firm rubber. If you're looking for a lifetime tool (and probably something to pass on to your grandkids) then look no further.

This fantastic hammer is very easy on the elbow and the wrist. I have several large framing hammers and this is by far the easiest to swing and keep swinging. It requires far less effort to swing this hammer verses my 28 oz Antvibe and my 23 oz Vaughan hammers yet I can still drive nails just as easily. This hammer swings with more than enough power to drive 2-1/2” and 3” 10 penny nails, long spirals nails, long ring shank nails, etc. I like the smooth face because it leaves fewer markings when adjusting studs and when missing nails, because that happens and it’s less likely to rip my thumb open. You can also swap out the head by removing the hex bolt. The handle is very comfortable to hold and the grip is great. There is also a thumb detent for when you need to choke up on the handle and that is a great feature that also very comfortable. The side nail puller works so well, it takes a lot less effort to pull nails that way than with the claws and it is easier to get into tighter spaces. This hammer is not cheap but what is more expensive, more doctor visits and surgery or a hammer? If you do a ton of swinging then this is worth the long term investment in keeping your body going.

Some would say this is a "grail" hammer. With a year or so of use under my belt I may be inclined to agree. The talking point here is really the material - titanium. I've done some framing with this and I will say it packs a much bigger punch than it's weight will have you believe and it packs that punch into the nail instead of reverberating through my arm. I do like the fact the head is replaceable, I just need to remember to make sure it's tight before swinging it. I also really like the side nail puller. Some of my favorite hammers are "Douglas pattern" and they also have the side nail puller.

This is an amazing hammer for anyone who takes both construction and their own health seriously. To start off, let’s admit it, this isn’t cheap. But, It may be cheaper than the alternatives. It should last a long, long time. Maybe even long enough to equal the cost of all of the other hammers that you would have purchased. The second aspect is that I found that this hammer doesn’t reverberate back through your arm like most others that I have owned. After 3 rotator cuff surgeries, I am at the point where spending more on a tool that will save me from more down time, medical bills and pain is a small price to pay. Now on to the cool parts of the hammer. The side nail-pulling feature is fantastic and really works well, even better than a lot of crow bars. The striking head is replaceable and comes with a magnetic nail holder for starting the nail with one hand (also a pain-releving feature since everyone has hit their own fingers at some point). It is lightweight for the amount of strike force that you get with each blow, and the rubber handle feels good in the hand. Being made of titanium, it is super-strong and has excellent energy transmission, which means more of your muscle is used to drive nails instead of bouncing back.

This is the best hammer money can buy. It is very nicely designed, well made and a pleasure to use. The handle is lightweight titanium and has very little recoil. The head is steel and is replaceable. There are instructions on torquing the screw that hold the head on so it doesn't loosen. The side nail puller is fantastic! It gets very close to the surface and has great leverage. The handle is about 17 inches long. The magnetic nail holder is very strong and excellent for one handed operation. The light weight and reduced recoil make for much lower arm fatigue. If you are prone to tennis elbow like me, you need this hammer!

Worth every penny. Yes it is expensive, but it has the power of a much heavier hammer. I have already noticed less fatigue when using. And much less vibration and bounce back than a regular hammer. The titanium makes a much greater difference than I would have thought. The head is replaceable/switchable if one wishes, just one Allen screw to undo, a very neat feature. The magnetic nail starter groove works well. I tested with 8d, 10d, and 16d nails, and although it is unlikely I would use this feature in normal use, it is nice to know it is available if needed.

As a construction worker I have had issues with tennis elbow. Tools like this titanium hammer are invaluable. For what it does it is very light weight, and strong! This feels like it will last longer than I will. The side pulling feature is sweet, and requires much less effort than using the claws. Your nail will look like a rainbow when you pull it with the side puller, however, and require a fair bit of pounding to reuse. The claws themselves are quite sharp at the end, allowing you to get under fairly tight nail heads. The nail holding feature for starting nails works very well. These are not cheap, but if you use a hammer every day on the job it is well worth the investment.

This is a well made and versatile hammer with some unique features. It's designed and made from a one piece Titanium casting and has a replaceable striking face. The 180 degree side nail puller is made to remove nails with the head very close to the surface wood and works great! It also has 10 times less recoil vibration than a regular hammer. While this hammer is very pricey, it is well made and could be passed on to the future generations. The one drawback I see is it specifically advises against use when hammering hardened steel like cold chisels or hardened nail setter punches.
