Is there a trick to getting the black mattress support aligned with the 4 holes on the sides of the crib? At each level I try, 2 of the holes are not aligned so I cannot secure 2/4 of the screws. They are just barely off. Thank you for your suggestions!

What is the clearance (in inches) between the floor and bottom of the side railing - if we wanted to store anything under the crib and easily slide it underneath.
