The desk is heavy duty is it worth the price maybe maybe not. would I recommend it no. the desk drawers are stuck can’t even use them ,they don’t open and if you try to open them they won’t close back in so I wouldn’t recommend To anyone. Maybe I just got a bad batch of merchandise I don’t know but this is my second desk drawers that I have ordered and I had the same thing with the same problem I don’t know.

The Donnelly white metal and wood top desk looks really smart and is not obtrusive in a small room. On pictures it looks understated but the style of it is looks much nicer in person. It assembles very quickly with a few bolts with an Allen wrench for the metal frame & then screws for the underside of the wooden part. The legs have adjustable pads at the bottom of them to adjust the height.
CONS: When i tried opening the drawers there was nowhere to get a "grip" to pull them open, nothing was recessed at the sides or bottom either so later i had to add handles to the fronts. (Looks even better with handles).
The sliders on the sides of both draws i needed to reattach using longer screws because they came constructed with incredibly short screws which had already stripped out (another reviewer mentioned this too.)
Lastly, the drawers are about 14 inches deep but you can ONLY pull out the drawers 6.5 inches??? So if something is in the drawers you cannot see it but have to "fish around" for it.
Its a nice cute desk that i had to upgrade cos it falls a little short in the planning/manufacturing process but its still better than a lot of other furniture iv`e put together.

I really like this table because it is simple and elegant. The style of the base keeps it from appearing to take up a lot of room because it blends in and keeps the line of sight going towards the wall behind. The patina and character of the faux wood top is nice too, the feel of the grain is good, and the color is nice and warm.
I gave this a 4/5 because of the drawers. They are nice but they do not use the space well. The desk is much deeper than the drawers so there's a lot of wasted space behind where the drawer ends. The drawers also only pull out about halfway, so if you have something in the back you have to reach up inside the shallow drawer. Additionally, if something were to fall behind the drawer you need to remove it to access the item. I would like to see the drawers be deeper and pull out to the full depth of the drawer (or at least close to that).

This is a simple, understated desk that will look good in many bedrooms or small home offices.
My observations after assembly and usage:
• Assembly was easy. The desk portion comes ready to go. I spent about 15-20 minutes putting the frame/legs together. The directions were clear and everything was included.
• This is not a huge deal, however the rail that the drawer slides on was not installed correctly from the factory. The holes were stripped out and the screws were not able to hold the drawer rail (right side drawer) in place. It was only one rail that was like this. I just grabbed some thicker screws and installed it correctly. It took about 2 minutes to fix it.
• The other drawer (left side) slowly opens on its own. I just need to adjust it a bit, however a drawer that slowing keeps opening can be annoying. Again, easy to fix.
• It was packaged well to protect the unit. The desk and legs were in great condition with zero defects, other than drawer rail mentioned above.
• The drawers operate smoothly. They are deep and feel solid.
• This is part of a collection so if you are looking at several pieces that match you have quite a few options.
• The footprint of this desk is small, so it really works great for a college student or desk in a bedroom.
• It has a modern look and a nice appearance. Quite unique.
I added several photos after I assembled it. Overall, this is a nice little desk, especially given the small footprint and price-point. I recommend.
