Disappointed... But kept it. Because of price.
Disappointed but at the price, I figured it wasn't worth the bother to return it. Although it was in original wrap. It looks faded on one of the long sides approx 2 feet entire length, about half the width of the rug. Almost like it had been on end in a flooded area. Color is very faded on that side. The rest is no where as vibrant as photo.

the rug itself is faded to replicate an aged/washed look. If it is faded more on one side than the other, it is possible due to pile pressed from packaging, pile should open up and if it doesn't change. please let us know

Accurate size. Hideous rug that looks nothing like the photo in the listing. The whole thing looks like its been shaved- you can see the rug base through the fibers when standing, and the pile is painfully thin. It also isn't black, at all- this rug is blue. Loose fibers are all over it, some of which seem to be stuck? still attached? the pattern is too faded to make out, especially around the square border. it looks like a thrift store reject. VERY disappointed.

Very disappointed
We purchase a red and a blue 8x10 rug in this pattern. When I buy a rug I do not want to see the backing. I don't care if it's called "distressed"! I feel like they tried to save money on making the rugs without enough fibers and called it "distressed" instead of cheap! These runs were horribly thin so we returned them. I only rate it one star because it was no issue returning this rug to Home Depot.

I love this rug! Was not sure after reading some negative reviews if I should order it. Am so glad I did! It is everything I had hoped it would be. It arrived early, was packaged well, and in prefect condition. Would recommend to anyone. It's beautiful!

This rug is very nice with the style of a more expensive rug. I even expected it to have the pretty tassels due to the style but it doesn't. The edges are nicely bound. The colors are gorgeous: ivory, blues and a touch of red. (See pics) The rug is soft and feels good on the feet. On a hard-surface floor, you'll need a rug backer to keep it from sliding. This style comes in different sized-rugs at reasonable prices so I can see myself purchasing the 8x10 in the future.

Well, for starters, it's NOT black! At the very best, this is a medium charcoal grey. My photos included are a much better representation of the true colors. The overall pattern is o.k. if slightly insipid and indistinct. The colors are bland and not particularly pleasant. But absolutely the worst thing about this rug is how it is woven. The warp threads show white throughout most of the rug. In some places the weaving is so sparse that he rug looks "bald". If this was someone's idea of distressed and aging, I'm afraid it's rather a failure. It doesn't look "aged", as much as "cheap". I do not recommend.

It's unfortunate for a SEEDs member to write such a review where as others indicated otherwise. If you zoom in on the images, you will see that the color is blended. Furthermore, "medium charcoal gray" is not a color option for product attribute unfortunately. Monitor settings do play a role in color and tone and we hope you find a better rug under StyleWell or HDC that best suits your decor needs and color. Thank you for your comments, we appreciate it!

At this price point, I think this rug offers good value. Does it compare to something costing several hundred or even a few thousand dollars - no but then again this rug is less than $100. The size of this rug makes it perfect for my front entryway. It is lightweight but that does not bother me especially near the front door - it will just make it that much easier to pull up to clean. I like the fact that it has a worn/antique look to it. I think this will look a lot better in a year versus a rug that looks otherwise brand new with a big worn spot in the middle of it. Seriously at this price if I can get a couple of years use out of it - it will have been well worth it.

StyleWell Gramercy Ivory 5 ft. x 7 ft. Floral Area Rug is a great accent piece that really looks nice in any room, especially if the overall tone of the house is dark, the light colors of the rug really draw it out. The stitching on the rug is excellent. The border includes a heavy stitch. The rug is a heavy weight and it really looks nice. I am happy to have it and it dresses up my office nicely.
I rate this rug 5*s out of 5.
