          A:  It locks enough to keep the door from getting pushed open if something inside fell. If you’re looking for something secure or actually lockable for a public space, I would look elsewhere. Also I think you could remove the top without much effort, even if the doors locked securely.

                I am a single female who worried about the size/weight of this purchase when I picked it up in store early this week. Getting it into my car was the hardest part of this project. The assembly was a snap! Everything fit together beautifully. The instructions are clear and well-illustrated. A screwdriver is the only tool needed to complete this job. Best of all, they put the name/number each part into the mold so each piece is clearly identified. The finished cabinet is incredibly strong, roomy, and secure. It's a solid storage solution that comes in at a bargain price -- when compared to other locking cabinet solutions you might find online or at other big box stores.

                    LOVE my cabinets!!
                    Easy to put together! I am 60 and put the first one together in about 45 min, and the second one in about half hour. Will buy a couple more for my kitchen. The two cabinets are in my shop to store stuff that was just sitting around collecting dust. I stacked them. I am very pleased with my purchase. The shipping was free and here in less than a week! FYI, the shelves are not adjustable, they go in a certain spot and that's that. But for my needs that was OK.
