            1 Answer |
            Answer This Question

Hello, common household tools can be used to cut Palram panels. For the best results, use a fine-tooth blade and support the panel while cutting. Most customers use one of the following: circular saw, jigsaw, or utility knife. To avoid chipping or cracking, cut slowly, keep the panels stable, and leave the protective film on until installation is complete.

              Answer This Question

Hello! It is not recommended to print on the Suntuf Polycarbonate panels for several reasons. The UV Layer Blocks adhesion and polycarbonate is sensitive to certain chemical solvents found in standard commercial inks and exterior paints. Alternative Palram products for printing are Palight, Palboard, and Palclear.

I ordered these to put on top of my birdcage. Sorry that I cannot show you it on top of the birdcage because it’s not assembled yet but I could show you the product. It’s going to be beautiful.

Nice panels but stickers don’t come off!
The panels themselves are great- tough and colorful. However, EVERY panel comes with a 5” long white paper label glued down which are IMPOSSIBLE to remove! We’re using them for a fence (over 60 panels!) and it’s going to take many extra hours (days?) to remove these darn labels, which we hadn’t accounted for. They could have made them with a much less aggressive adhesive. Even after the labels are scrubbed off with Goo Gone, they still look terrible. And there's a full length advertising label right next to them that peels off super easy! Why not make BOTH labels peelable?? They really botched this otherwise great product!

These panels are surprisingly light and tough. And they do a great job of allowing light to pass while filtering out heat. I can definately feel the temperature difference between direct sunlight and then slipping under the canopy of these panels. However the packaging of these panels could be improved because they have no protective cover and one of the delivered panels was scratched. The panels don't appear to scratch easily because we never scratched one while being installed.

Worked out really nicely for our deck. Affordable and lets enough light in while filtering the uv. Recommend

do not buy; if you do, hold on to the receipts
Bought 17 panels for my pergola roof (Houston) in 2022 March from home depot through a contractor. The corrugated panels started coming apart in less than one year. The panels started warping in the Houston heat and the middle section turned black and brittle overall. During a winter hailstorm, the brittle panels developed huge holes in them from the hail. Now the pergola roof leaks whenever it rains and it defeats the purpose of even having a roof. I unfortunately did not hold on to the receipt, and so am unable to file for warranty replacement. However, the product itself is downright bad. If you end up buying it, hold on to your receipt so you can file for warranty with the manufacturer who will not honor the warranty without the receipt.

This is my second Suntuf roof on our deck. The previous roof lasted 13 years before quarter size hail did it in a couple of months ago. I put Misty Green on this time to reduce the heat transmission. We still get a lot of illumination even with only 20% light transmission. Suntuf is the best. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-install, super roof.
