AnswerI use The spray on my white sinks, tub and toilet. I have well water which is high in Iron. Iron Out works like bleach. There is a powder Iron out I use on my whites in the laundry. So, I would say NO to your lilac colored sheets. Depending on the stain, I pretreat stains with anything that has "oxy" in it, or spot treat dawn for dishes.

AnswersI use it on quartz and porcelain, so my guess is you'll be fine. I don't think the poultice is necessary. I'd spray, let out sit for a few minutes and it will be good.

Incredible product!!! Works exactly as directed and easy to use. As a novice do-it-yourselfer I was surprised how well this worked. It saved me from having to re-paint the front of my home. Product works fast too. It removed the well water stain and didn’t; affect the paint at all. I highly recommend.

Iron OUT Rust Stain Remover Spray - 16 fl oz is an excellent product. I first tried out on my children's bathrooms shower head. After simply saturating the shower head with just a few sprays, I left it to sit for 30 minutes. Upon my return, 30 minutes later the shower head was spraying as if it were new! Next I tried it on the old well water, mineral and iron deposit ugly unusable garden tub....well, the photos speak for themselves and I am looking forward to using my now bright and beautiful garden tub! I have been using IronOUT Rust Stain remover about a month, I have hard water/well water and a lot of rust stains on the toilet bowl and the shower and shower doors. This is the absolute best product for the rust and hard water stains. It is safe for septic, it goes on as a gel so it clings on, leave it sit for a few minutes and wipe or scrub it and it's done and my shower and toilets are white again and the glass shower doors are clean! The rust stains were at least 10 years old and it still got rid of them. I did have to do the toilet twice but it cleaned it up looks like new. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We have a VERY high iron concentration in our well water at home and it ends up slowly turning our shower, sink and toilet a deep orange color over time. Have tried a ton of products to try to fix this issue but nothing works nearly as well as this product. Smells absolutely terrible but works AMAZING. A few spritzes of this and you can watch the orange dissolve away before your eyes. I use this formula for the sink and inside of the shower and use the powder formula for inside the toilet as that seems to work better there. As stated earlier, the smell is awful and lingers until you rinse everything down so definitely have windows open when using this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I loved this product!! It definitely helps takes the rust off. I do recommend wearing gloves and a mask because the smell is pretty on the strong side. It works great I tried it around my house and it removed it quickly. The only thing is it is definitely on the stronger scent side. But other than that I would totally recommend. I used Iron OUT on a big, ugly rectangular rust stain on our garage floor that's been there for well over a year (left a can of deck stain there too long). As per instructions: Wear chemical-resistant gloves. "Spray directly on rust stain. Let stand for a few seconds. Wipe with damp sponge or cloth. Rinse promptly and thoroughly. Repeat if necessary." I used the Iron Out Rust Stain Remover to remove the rust build up on my shower head. All i did was spray the shower head and watched the rust literally fall off. The Super Iron Out spray is designed to remove rust stains in the bathroom, kitchen, on carpeting and fabrics and other places. I used it to remove the rust stains on my bathtub and it removed them with a little bit of scrubbing. The product label says that it’s a gel, though when I used it, it was just like a liquid, however it still worked fine. Be sure to wear gloves and eye protection when using this stuff. If you need to remove rust stains, this stuff should do it.

Super Iron Out Brand, 16 fl. oz. Spray is a product I decided to try since my dishwasher stainless steel door had some rust spots and I didn’t know the best product to remove them. To my surprise, Iron Out removed the rust and stains from the door making it look like new. Next, I decided to try it on a rusty toilet in our home that probably needs to be replaced. Iron out defiantly reduced the rust staining, but did not work as well as on my dishwasher door. The spray bottle makes it kind of hard to get Iron Out up under the rim of the toilet where the worst of the rust stains are. If I continue to use it, the rust staining will likely lighten even more. Then while out grilling a New York steak on my 5-year old grill purchased from Home Depot, I decided to try it on the stainless-steel handles of the grill that were rusting. Again, while it did not remove all the rusting, it likely removed 95-percent, greatly improving the appearance of the grill. While Iron Out may not be the cure-all of all rust cleaning products, it does have its merits and is also sold in my local Home Depot store.
