High quality strut was used for reinforcement of a metal door. Bending in the door caused cracks due to metal fatigue. The strut worked perfectly. Bending was greatly reduced. The strut is relatively lightweight and strong. The pre-drilled holes were ideal for ease of placement and securing the strut to the door. Using the strut saved me hundreds of dollars in repair costs or replacement of the door. I believe the strut has extended the service life of the door for decades.

Cuts well with a hack saw, worked great to attach my garage heater to the ceiling of my garage.

I was having trouble finding a reasonable solution to add crossbars to my luggage rack. Found this smoked strut channel and made my own. U- bolted it to the luggage rack and it was ready to go.

While Superstrut is usually used in HVAC and electrical applications I have found it to be very versatile combined with the available channel spring nuts and angle brackets. I needed a secure foundation to mount two 10 foot lengths of 3" PVC Sch 40 conduit to create a base to support my Hobie Pro Angler kayak on a trailer. I used U-bolts to secure the Superstrut to the frame of my trailer then SS bolts through the slotted sections of the Superstrut to secure the conduit. It has been rock solid for over two years and after many submersions in freshwater it shows no sign of rust. My next project was to build a bed bike rack for my 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Using the some of the M6 bolts in the bed I was able to secure the Superstrut to the bed wall and then add a fork mount to the Superstruct using the 1/4 inch channel spring nuts to secure the mount. Looks like my next project will be to use the Superstruct to install some solar panels on top of our RV...will post pics after I complete the project.

Multiple uses and easy to configure to your specific needs with the available accessories. Strong and extremely durable. Mounts vertically to a wall with anchors or horizontally to ceilings. Spring nuts make it easy to mount just about anything at any point along it's length. I've used it to create a TV wall for our business, great for electrical drops in the middle of a workspace, also great for making attached shelving or to build custom free standing shelving. I highly recommend this product. It's only limit is your imagination.
