Do you recommend to wipe these with alcohol before staining to open up the pores?

How much does each 1" x 12" x 8' board weight?
Estimated 20-25 pounds each 8 foot board
Will these boards warp or twist over time? I want to put 3 of these boards side-by-side for a modular countertop over my washer & dryer, but don't want gaps to form between them as they dry out more with age.
These are kiln dried to 6-8 pct. moisture so should not be an issue
Can I get these cut to 58 inches long?

Have these been made 12 inches wide by gluing thinner strips together?
Marie, Please note this item is 3/4 in. thick x 11-1/4 in. wide x 96 in. long in Actual Size as stated in the bullet points under Product Details. Additionally, this is a one piece construction board, not a glue up. I hope that helps!
Would these possibly bow if used fir bookshelves?
