A: Yes, we have used little tikes swings on the swing we built with these hangers. They easily hook through with no safety issues.
A: They are design to be used with a 4x6 beam. Actual thickness is 5.5"
A: Max use is 4x6
A: Possibly. Their is a six inch rod that is supposed to go thru a 4 X 6 and has a washer and nut that attaches on the top side. If you can't get to the top side, it would not work safely.
A: This can mount to a wooden swing beam.
A: No. Unless you have access to the top of the beam. A nut device needs to be hammered into place for the actual hook to screw into.
A: Possibly. There is a six inch rod that goes thru a 4X6 and attaches with a washer and nut. To attach to a 4X8, you would have to counter sink the top 2 inches in order to attach it properly.
A: Max use 4x6
A: No. I don’t think the hanger bolt is long enough.
A: Swing Hanger regular duty is 5.5" long on the straight part.
A: The measurements of the ropes was 14 inches. I installed mine 15 inches to be on the safe side.
A: Make sure the swing hangs parallel.
A: You should hold the chains so that they hang straight down and mark the spots where you will drill your holes.
A: Swing Hangers should be mounted about 17" apart and 12" away from a post or another swing.
