lesson learned
These tiles are made up of a high-density polypropylene material. Polypropylene is a plastic and it is
sensitive to heat and friction. That explains why when I decided to install it over the weathered boards on my uncovered front porch, the tiles bubbled up when the temperatures reached over 100 degrees. These flooring tiles are designated for garage floors but when I read : "constructed to withstand household and automotive fluids, maximizing airflow and drainage"..."Clean with wet mop, leaf blower, or pressure washer"... I thought it might work on the porch. Nope! The tiles are easy to snap together, they lay flat and look attractive. However, as a whole piece, it slides around and needs some way to stabilize it.

Indoor use only!!
I have been looking for a strong, durable. easy to install covering for the weathered boards our front porch. This flooring is designated for garage floors but when I read : "constructed to withstand household and automotive fluids, maximizing airflow and drainage"..."Clean with wet mop, leaf blower, or pressure washer"... I thought it might work on the porch. Wrong!! The tiles were super easy to click together. They laid flat and looked great. But, they slid around so my husband put screws in to keep them in place. The porch is uncovered. Temperatures climbed to over 100 degrees and some of the tiles bubbled up. They can't take the heat. They almost return to normal when it cools down. Otherwise, these would be terrific and I would order more to finish the job.

My back isn't hurting at the end of the day!
This is my "first impression" of this product. It clicks together well, but I was surprised that it doesn't feel like it has any "bounce" or "give" when walking on it. It honestly feels as hard as my concrete slab, BUT by the end of the day my back isn't hurting--which is the purose I got this product. The packages did come with 10 squares of each color. I am using these in my woodshop and when vacuuming up they still show a lot of dirt and dust.

I’ll admit first off that I ordered these interlocking floor tiles for my work area in front of my finishing bench. I use air tools and cleaning solvents on metal and plastic parts. The floor is concrete and I stand there for long periods and it’s hard in my back. They were delivered quick and well packaged. They measure 12 inches by 12 inches and one pack contains 10 tiles (10 square feet). They are very easy to assemble and seem very durable for their intended purpose. I had enough in one pack to do a 2 feet by 5 feet area in front of the bench. They do have some shock absorbency and are designed to be non-slip. But I spilled a bit of oil on one and it was slippery. After clean up, no problems. I use my shop vacuum to clean them because some small debris gets in between the tiles. They don’t lock together with a tight seam. There remains a small gap that collects dust and small particles. Overall, they do exactly what I wanted and are comfortable to stand on. Nice product and my back appreciates it.

If you were to damage a piece of flooring by dropping an object it can be easily popped up and replaced. Also if you rent or you move you can easily take the floor up and move it with you. I expected this flooring to be pretty easy to put together, and it exceeded my expectations in that respect. Of course, the flip side of that is that you can't pick it up and move it without it falling apart. It does slide pretty easily on a relatively smooth surface, though. It isn't soft or rubbery like you might expect, but it still does a very good job of absorbing impact. Every piece is the same, meaning that if you want smooth edges all the way around, you'll have to trim off the "loops" on two sides. I'm not super concerned with aesthetics where I've got this, so I didn't worry about it.
