Asked by WENDY September 14, 2019Hi Wendy, This valve trim is a combination of brass, zinc, and plastic construction. So it is not made exclusively of metal. If you're looking for solid brass construction, we have many other collections that we make with solid metal, like our Dia and Duro. Any model with -B in the part number is solid metal. That being said, all of our trim models are designed to be compatible with our valves; so you can mix, match and update easily. Thanks for your question!

I tried looking at Symmons-Temtrol website but it looks like it’s not available. This Symmons Allura 1 replacement kit replaces the original one. It fits perfectly.

I have a Symmons s-96 that uses a T-10 valve . Can I use this to replace my trim ?

Can I use this with a shower only?
Asked by JudyM June 27, 2016Dear JudyM: This particular Allura is designed for a tub and shower application and features the integral diverter handle that allows you to switch usage between tub and shower. The long and short of it is, if you have a shower-only system that features that secondary diverter/volume control handle, then whatever trim you select should indicate 'shower only,' and feature that secondary handle as well.
