Will this rope be good for securing items in a Pod during transport?

        Answer This Question

You could use this item although it may be a little too thick you work with as a tie down. Depending on what you are tying down 3/8" or 1/2" would be more than enough.

can I use it to make a rope bridge

          Answer This Question

Yes, If you watch an old WWll war movie you will see the cargo nets the soldiers climbing over the side of the ships. Disneyland uses this kind of rope for its rope bridges. You just need to size it 1 1/2in or larger I would think.

The rope arrived sooner than expected, and although the box was a little beaten, the rope was fine. It was a darker brown than it looked in the picture, but we decided not to return it, hoping it might fade. We ordered this to do a nautical rope border for our garden, where the rope is wrapped around and then draped in between pylons. After we adjusted it to the "perfect" height so the dogs wouldn't go over nor under it, we screwed it all in place so it would stay just as we wanted it. Imagine our surprise when we looked out the next day to see the draped portions tight as a drum! Since it's screwed in to the posts, it will get damaged if we undo it. Sometimes it's draped, and sometimes it's not, all with just a few degrees difference. If we had any idea it was so weather-sensitive, we would never have spent the time and money on this rope! Very disappointed, but we can't return it now. This shrinking/stretching may not impact what you're using it for, like it did for us, but just buyer beware that it's unstable.
