Generations of consumers have come to know that the bright orange package stands for “Ant Control.”No matter what type of home pest control challenge you face, TERRO has the solution!
Have you spotted fruit flies swarming around your kitchen or garbage can? With the TERRO Fruit Fly Trap you can get the best of these annoying household pests in no time!
Set the traps upright on a solid surface. Insert the tip of the lure bottle into the center hole of the trap. Empty half of the bottle into each trap.
Fruit flies depend on moist organic debris. The trap attracts adult fruit flies to the trap using a special food-based liquid lure.
Flies that enter the trap through one of the many funnel-shaped holes are unable to escape and continue breeding.
In a matter of days, you should begin to notice a dramatic decrease in the number of fruit flies around your home.
When trying to eliminate fruit flies, the key to success is locating their breeding areas. Place traps near trash cans, unrefrigerated fruits and vegetables, and any other location where fruit is stored.
It features an attractive apple-shaped design that will look at home in any kitchen. It also blends in with the fruit these pests love!
For your convenience, the trap also has a built-in window, allowing you to keep an eye on catches and lure levels.
Once the lure is placed in the trap, it will last for about 45 days. Replace after this time period to keep trapping.
The Fruit Fly Trap a non-staining lure, so surfaces won't be discolored if the trap is accidentally spilled.
Fruit flies have a very short life cycle, going from egg to adult in about a week. This ensures an almost constant breeding cycle.
If the tiny insects invading your home are buzzing around potted plants, the culprit may actually be fungus gnats. This trap is only for fruit flies.
A: Apple cider vinegar
A: There is not a refill available for the lure. For hygienic reasons, the trap should be disposed of once the lure is gone.
A: I have not seen the lure to be sold separately at the store.
A: Great question. In my experience these work great for a few days but not near as long as advertised.
A: Refills are not available for this product. For sanitary reasons they are designed for one-time use.
A: In one pack, contains 2 tramps
A: Each package contains two traps.
A: Single pack of two
A: These traps are not recommended for fungus gnats.
A: I'm not sure about the fungus gnats. I had a terrible infestation of fruit flies a couple of seasons ago that began with a box of strawberries. This product solved that problem. Hope this helps a bit.
A: No they dont
A: This product works but unfortunately only on a 'limited' scale. That being said, the traps will catch fruit flies and gnats but my experience has been less than stellar. As for fungus gnats, this product may/may not catch them. They are very difficult to detain. Put it this way: Try the traps. It is better than nothing at all. Hope this helps.
A: I am sure this works for other people, but I really did not have much luck. And I have tried it more than one time. I also don't know the difference between fungus gnats and just the gnats that I had in our kitchen. I had more luck with just simply apple cider vinegar, some dishwasher soap and sugar mixed in a small bowl. And place the bowl near where the gnats are mostly around.
