A:  There is not a refill available for the lure. For hygienic reasons, the trap should be disposed of once the lure is gone.

A:  These traps are not recommended for fungus gnats.

                    by|Jul 19, 2021

A:  I'm not sure about the fungus gnats. I had a terrible infestation of fruit flies a couple of seasons ago that began with a box of strawberries. This product solved that problem. Hope this helps a bit.

                        by|Jul 16, 2021

A:  This product works but unfortunately only on a 'limited' scale. That being said, the traps will catch fruit flies and gnats but my experience has been less than stellar. As for fungus gnats, this product may/may not catch them. They are very difficult to detain. Put it this way: Try the traps. It is better than nothing at all. Hope this helps.

                          by|Jul 16, 2021

A:  I am sure this works for other people, but I really did not have much luck. And I have tried it more than one time. I also don't know the difference between fungus gnats and just the gnats that I had in our kitchen. I had more luck with just simply apple cider vinegar, some dishwasher soap and sugar mixed in a small bowl. And place the bowl near where the gnats are mostly around.

No rapid response to fly trap.
The fruit fly’s are semi attractive to this trap.. At times I would see the flys sit on top the trap for 15 to 20 mins and not even think about going into the trap.

Great product. Initially learned about the trap from a professional exterminator. Saw on shelf, purchased, loaded and works like a charm. We'll worth the reasonable price.

                          Best trap ever!!
We moved into our new home and within 2 days we had over 200 fruit flies as our new construction home used to be on an apple orchard hence the tins of fruit flies that were in the drains. We tried vaccines and cleaning the drains but nothing worked until I tried this. IT WORKS!! I NEVER write reviews but it works!! I have 4 of these and each one has about 40-50 fruit flies in them. Don’t believe me just look at my photo lol warning it’s gross

I recently purchased this product by a friend recommendation. However, it has been 2 wks and I have less but flys are still around. There’s nothing in my kitchen or surroundings areas that encourages the breeding. But they’re less. Maybe I need to wait more and see. Idk where they come from but definitely annoying. It doesn’t have any smell and the little apple shape of the container look decorative in the kitchen though.

                              Credit where credit's due
We had about a dozen fruit flies buzzing around our kitchen. It took a couple of days but a good number of them ended up in the trap. Yes, in the beginning there were about 2-3 flies hanging out on top of the trap just like in some of the other pics. But I think they eventually crawled in there. It won't work on 100% of the flies in the room, especially if you have other items (like real fruit) around. But it got almost all of them for us. We're happy with the product.

They just sit on the top and never go in. 1 out of 30 probably makes it inside.

                                Got the job done
I’ve been battlIng with this problem for a few weeks. Made my own jars and mixture that somewhat worked not well enough though. These worked so much better they have only been up for 24hr and I notice a significant difference the flies are not completely gone, but I would say 80% are gone and that makes me feel a whole better instead of feeling frustrated at seeing infestation of fruit flies.

They are not something that will stop the problem alone, but they were a great addition to my efforts to eradicate the fruit flies. They draw and catch the flies over night. I actually dumped them out into the toilet and reused them with apple cider vinegar. I wasn’t having much luck with the jars I had made. These little things trapped a lot more. Here’s a pic looking inside:
