I bought this new Titan water heater to replace the previous Titan, which had lasted over 14 years. This new model is much smaller and apparently much more efficient. It has a very good price and the delivery was very fast (the next day). I think I made a very good purchase, I just hope it turns out as good as the previous one.

Great water heater, non-responsive service dept.
As far as the water heater function, it is excellent. Works extremely well for my shop, and makes water plent hot for washing my hands or parts & things.
Only gripe, is with their service. Mine arrived missing one of the wall mounts & the screws. I contacted Titan by email, and heard nothing. I made my own mount, and installed it, and still have heard nothing. I hope that should something goes wrong in the future, that the Titan service department will recognise my existance. If not for their lack of response, I would have given it 5 stars.

The unit works great and fits in place of old one. Four star due to high price. Old one lasted aprox. 12 years.

Customer service is good, The device overheats ? and trips reset. The reset is inside sealed unit...
Customer service is good, The device overheats ? and trips reset. The reset is inside sealed unit and customer service walks you through how to open without breaking seal. It worked again for a few days until i used a tub full of hot water then tripped reset again. This takes entirely too much work to be changing plumbing and 220 volt #8 wire . not suitable as booster type heater.

impressive unit
I absolutely love this little water heater. I bought it for a garage renovation so I could run a hand sink, a shower, a stacked washer and dryer, and I have to say, I'm really blown away by it. I took my time with the installation, planned everything out carefully, and everything works so well. I get crazy hot water to the hand sink in about 15 seconds, and it just runs and runs. I'm so impressed by it, that I'm buying another one for my office.
