The TU40 Universal Multi-Voltage 24 Hour Mechanical Time Switch is perfect for Lighting, Pumps, Signs, Air Conditioning, Water Heaters, Fans applications that automatically detects the input voltage. It is easy to set with a real time clock face with a bypass option. It is mounted in a Nema3R Polycarbonate Indoor/outdoor enclosure.
- Timer supply is multi-voltage that has automatic input voltage detection for use with 120/208-24-277 VAC 60Hz DPDT dry contacts and the DPDT can also wire as SPST, SPDT and DPST
- It is easy-set with real time clock face and day/night markings for setting trippers, scheduling is minimum on is setting 15 minutes, dial has 96 captive trippers
- It features a bypass switch that sets timer to permanent on, off or timer operation, for vacation mode you set timer off with no change of tripper settings
- Power on green and load on red and LED indicating lights
- Polycarbonate indoor/outdoor NEMA 3R enclosure

we use this exact model timer in are plant,...
we use this exact model timer in are plant, some needed replaced, others are still in use. I returned the 3 that I purchased. None of them worked. the clocked worked and the relays worked. No power came thru to operate our solonoids.

Although I am an electronics guy, I don't trust an electronic timer controlling power in my home due to transients during lightning storms--they wouldn't last. So, previously I bought an electromechanical timer for my water heater that had removable on/off trippers. I had to replace the timer motor because twice the gears were ruined. I expect this one will last longer since the trippers are built into the timer wheel. I wish I had found this one before.

I have had to replace this timer 3 times after...
I have had to replace this timer 3 times after the clock failed to engage the power to our lights after 3 to 6 months. Finally replaced it the fourth time with a mechanical clock timer.

So far this timer is working as described - it...
So far this timer is working as described - it replaced a different Tork mechanical timer which failed (twice) after a few months but this one is much easier to set the on/off times so I am optimistic that it will keep operating properly.
