I work with a builder and we use this in our model home as clients, contractors and subs come in constantly with red clay on their work shoes and walk on our floors (including carpet). We tried using the booties and it was a struggle, especially for the older clients as they had trouble with balancing. This is simple and easy. I wish it cut a little easier when you step down but overall, we're thrilled with this and it's cheaper than booties! Great product and no, it doesn't harm your shoes like some people have said (that's totally false or I'd question the brand of shoes they're wearing as out of 100 people, zero have had an issue removing these as they leave and it has NEVER hurt a pair of shoes!).

Doesn't work well. Shoe's can't be wet from snow. I've wasted more plastic trying to get it to stick or cutting it off.
One of my guests called it a piece of trash.

This film works great, stays on shoes! Sticks really good to the bottom of shoes but not so bad that it’s not worth it. Definitely recommend!

It was so hard to removed the cover at the end of day. The glue is very sticky and it was almost impossible to remove it.

We are sorry to hear that it was difficult to remove the cover of Trimaco's E-Z Floor Guard. We are working to improving the adhesive film, but as a tip: use a hair dryer, and on low quickly heat the film. This will make removal a bit easier. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

I gave it 3 stars because at least it is the appropriate item to refill the Trimaco EZ Floor Guard Shoe Cover device. However, the shoe cover material itself leaves a lot to be desired. If you come in from outside and your shoes are damp, or dirty these things won't stick reliably. If your shoes are not overly damp or dirty, they stick very well, don't come off and when you try to remove them you will spend hours pulling little bits of sticky plastic off your shoes. Another big problem is that the sticky substance that holds these to your shoes rubs off on the hardwood floors and you will have to scour the house on your hands and knees while wearing cloth shoe covers to clean up the mess left by the Trimaco covers. I DO NOT recommend.
