AnswerX-Paper can be used to protect carpet, however if you intended on walking on the surface after application- it may tear. We recommend using Trimaco's Carpet Film to protect carpets.
Can out be rolled up and reused?

AnswerHi Julia, Trimaco's X-Paper can be reused, however it depends on on the liquids, dirt and traffic the surface protector comes into contact with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been remodeling an old home, and we have gone through a ton of this type of paper. Our local stores only have the thin kind, and that tears to easily, thus not affording the protection desired. My husband is so thrilled with this thicker, and high quality floor protection, etc, paper. It's definitely a product you can count on to do its job. We have found no faults with it. We may have received this to sample, but wow, do we love it. We have original wood floors that we can't afford to damage, lol. This is definitely a reliable and great quality product. We feel very comfortable recommending it!

I had a tree fall on my house and had several contractors running through the house. I put this paper everywhere. I out it on my stairs (hardwoods just refinished) and it is did amazing. Not one mark, scratch or dent! I also used it on the new granite countertops while the backsplash was being out in. What I like most about the paper is it is incredibly durable yet easy to manipulate around areas that you want to protect.

Easy to work with and holds up great. Not as water repellent as some other products but does withstand filth from any regular construction, paint, dust and debris!

Had wooden floors refinished and reno of bldg. Bad wet weather resulted in sump pump being overwhelmed and basement flooding. New pump with back up+auxiliary power should deal with future water issues.The work h ad people+items walking on 1st floor enroute to basement, trimaco x paper handled that and saved further damage to wood floor on 1st floor, paper did what it was purchased for.
