Hello LaurieL, This item is designed to be a outdoor cat containment hutch. Thank you for your question.
No, it is not recommended for chickens.
Hello, Yes I believe it is pine. We love it. We had to make it a bit smaller but the way it was designed we easily made the length a bit shorter. We also flipped over one of the panels to get the small door on the ground. This "Catio" thats what we call it, is very nice for the cats.
This is a cheap pine and very flimsy. Personally, I would research another type cage. It will do the job but not worth the money.
Hello Tamm: This cat tree is made of fir wood and is glazed for outdoor use. Thank you for your question.
Yes, this item is fully enclosed.
Yes, it is. That's exactly what we use the enclosure for. We carry our two indoor cats in and out to their pen, and they love it.
Yes, just make sure you don’t have a escape cat that can find a way to get out. The hardware that comes with is not real secure once it’s screwed in place. The screws come loose. I had to use tooth picks in the holes then screw the hardware back on after time.
Yes. It is fully enclosed.
Absolutely...our indoor kitty has been enjoying his outdoor run for over a year now in complete safety. The only thing that it doesn't have is a solid roof to protect from the rain but we solved that problem by putting up a collapsible gazebo over it so it can be used in any weather. I highly recommend this cat run!!
not very sturdy, not impressed with quality of the wood.
No, I do not believe it would.
Honestly, I would not entrust my kitties in this run outdoors. We will be using ours in the garage for cold winters.
not sturdy enough for that. you would have to build a supplemental frame like i did and build a decking platform.
The wood structure and frame are sturdy units. The screen is made of 22 gauge wire.
It does, wire mesh all around
There is a shingled roof on the enclosure but just wire on the open part.
it has a chicken wire top like the sides. I covered mine with clear plastic corrugated roof material.
No, the roof does not cover the entire top.
There is a shingled cover for the enclosure but only wire covering the open part.
