Could I possibly put two these side by side to cover a 96 in x 80 closet? Do they only screw/nail in from top and bottom or side as well?
Asked by: jbw
I think that is a great idea! If my closet was that large, I certainly would have done a double. Yes, top and bottom tracks only, nothing on the sides, and I do love the beveling. Good luck!

Will this fit a 46 inch wide closet? can the sliding doors over lap?

Asked by: Dick
They do overlap because each door is in it's own track. 48 inches is the maximum coverage. My closet opening is only 46 inches, and it works fine. I've had no issues with the tracks or sliding mechanism of these doors. They open/close smoothly and quietly.

Does the doors come with a handle to open and close

Asked by: homedepot
It has a little tiny mirrored piece that you stick on, pretty useless.

Will the doors fit in openning 47 x 79 and 1/4

Asked by: Bill
Yes, it will with the proper adjustments! The doors look beautiful in my bedroom! The opening was 47×79 1/4!

48 in. x 80 in. 325 Series Steel White Frameless Mirror Interior Sliding Door is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from OKAY Definitely needs longer screws for bottom rail. Not impressed with the rails on top or bottom. Doesnt fit every snug, loose on top rail and the bottom rail adjustment sucks. Its got a nice look to it. But thats it. Ill keep for now until i can find a better one. Also dont care for the door handle to open.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Watch out for the height I only rated the quality and appearance as poor because of the height of the doors. The height is advertised as 80" tall, but they are only 78" tall. The website and the packaging both state the doors are 48"x80", THEY ARE NOT!! The tracks are 48" wide and are relatively easy to trim to length with tin snips. HOWEVER THE HEIGHT OF THE MIRRORED DOORS IS ONLY 78" TALL. If you are looking to use these in an 80" opening, THEY WILL BE TOO SHORT. I have an 82" opening -2" boxed in to hide the track [like standard slab doors] leaving a standard 80" opening. After trimming the tracks with tin snips, drilling 2 extra holes to replace the 2 I had cut off. I installed the upper and lower tracks per the instructions. I placed the wheels in the bottom tracks and was surprised to see a 2" gap at the top. The lower wheels are height adjustable but not enough to cover the distance, not to mention unsightly and incompatible with the logic of being a door. To make them fit in my application, I had to remove the upper track, build out the recess designed to accommodate the upper track, then screw the upper track to the new framing. After that the doors went in rather easily. The doors track well, and once you rebuild and re-trim your opening, they do look nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice product put this sliding mirror door in my room besides moving studs this was like a 30 minute installation helps to have a drill and drill bits so the screws go in without stripping probably going to buy another one for the other room if it fits

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value! They look like $500 doors but were actually around $140. We had a bit of trouble installing it as the instructions do not state that the top guide can be adjusted. Once that part was figured out, the rest of the installation was a breeze. It's really just a 15 min job. I am really sad that The HD is no longer carrying the 72" version. It's really the best deal ever!

The my flooring installers were nice enough to offer to put them in for me, however, when they went to install the doors, they weren't long enough, just as the 1-star review had warned. My old closet doors are 24 x 80, but they are hanging off of a roller that adds 1" to the height. I now need to add a 1x4 to the top of my closet frame to make it fit. Disappointing. I also will come back and add a photo because the photos on the site are washed out and you can't really see what the doors will look like installed, and there's nothing on display in the store out of the packaging.

Bottom track was hard to get doors to click into place, I ended up having handyman come over to assist. I didn't realize it was a bottom track operation door until I had already opened the box and started assembly. I replaced other closet doors with a top track mechanism years ago and thought this item was similar. To return it would have required borrowing someone's truck again and so I just decided to keep it.
