How much height is needed from the top of the door (where the hardware connects) to the top of the hardware (the roller)?

My 2 hand made doors will be 2 1/4 thick and 48 inches wide which product will work on doors of this thickness?
A 48" door should be on bu you will need to route 1/2" grooves for the straps to go into. And I'm wondering about the overall weight of your doors. You may need to go with a Heavy Duty kit.

The hardware will work on our doors that measure 1 1/2" in thickness. Our screws may be too short for the thickness of your doors. Will this work with a 48” wide door ? Also the thickness of the door is 2”. Help.
I sued in on 48" door with no problem but for 2" thickness, you'll need to route 1/4" grooves for straps to go in. Watch the overall weight.
The ideal width for openings, when using this track kit, is 28 inches to 34 inches wide. You would need a longer track kit for a 48 inch wide door. Also this kit only supports doors with a thickness of 1-3/8 inches or 1-3/4 inches.
Can i use this system for top mounted ceiling ?
Hello, Unfortunately this barn door kit is made to install into a wall, not the ceiling.
does this come in a ten foot length ?
No, would need to use two kits.
The longest we supply is the 8 ft. rail.
My door opening is 42 1/2 inches so will this fit?
Total length of the rail is 96". Your opening is 85". It will fit your opening.
