These walkie-talkies, made by Motorola, are awesome. From their easy setup and pairing to their sturdy build and functional design, this three-pack of connectivity is a great solution for easy communication. We got these walkie-talkies so that our kids (too young for phones) can go play at friends' houses in the neighborhood while remaining in communication with us if needed. The product marketing claims these talkies' range is about 1 mile in neighborhoods, and so far we've tested it up to a half mile with perfect connectivity the whole time. I'll leave the technical reviews to other people because all I care about is: do they work for what I bought them for? And to that question, the answer is a resounding yes.

This came very nicely packaged. The batteries that come with it are rechargeable. It was very easy to set up all three of the two way radios. The phones pair with each other easily and allow for you to have what is basically a phone conversation with two way audio. There are 22 channels and 121 privacy codes. The range is from a mile at hole to 20 miles mountain top to valley. No license is required. It has a nice back lot display. Hands free option. Also comes with personalization stickers.

I ordered these online and they were shipped to my home without issue. This is a great 3 pack of two-way radios that have a fairly descent range. You can all three to have a conversation with 2 other individuals while out on a hike or around the neighbor hood. These are easy to set up to the preferred channel so when you talk through one, the other two radios receive the signal and are able to respond. The backlit LCD screen works great for night use. The clarity from the speakers are great and I can here just fine when a child talks through the other end. This also comes with rechargeable batteries and two ac adapters to charge the the radios. 1, sorter adapter has a single plug, and the other that is twice as long has two plugs to charge all three at the same time. The charge seems to last a descent amount of time.

These radios are great. I ordered these so the family can keep in touch when we're out on the trail. The range is fantastic, in the mountains and in the city. They are simple enough to use that my five year old has no trouble communicating over them, and the sound is clear and crisp. They come with rechargeable battery pack and two chargers (one of which has a split cable so you can charge two at once). The one thing I don't like, is that to access the battery you have to remove the belt clip. It's not a big deal, and will probably help keep the battery door from unintentionally opening, but it bugs me a bit. The reality is you really shouldn't need to access the battery once you've installed it, so this shouldn't be an issue at all. I did a drop test on these from the top of a six foot extension ladder onto concrete paving stones, and there was no damage, just a scratch in the cover so these are very durable. They have the common features, and a outlet for headphones and accessories if needed. Overall we're really happy with this purchase.

Motorola Walkie-Talkie Talkabout T210 This is a three-pack set of walkie-talkies by Motorola. They are plastic, light, but sturdy feeling. Multiple (22) channels, great noise reduction. They come with rechargeable battery packs and charging adapters, but could also work with three AA batteries. There are two chargers for the three radios. One charger has a dual cord, so you can charge two at once. The other charger is a single cord. Sound is clear while we are working around the property. Testing communication with one unit inside the house and one unit in the car in a community setting, it starts getting too much static at about a half mile - but that includes interference from the brick house and metal car. Outdoor and line of site distances, range would be much better. We are quite happy with these talkie-talkies and they work perfectly for our intended use.

Very basic radios but great quality size and weight. They do not have earphone or Bluetooth technology, you must speak into them. And there is a loud “bleep” after each transaction, so not recommend for hunting. Other than that, reception is very clear. They have 2 charging cables, but one has a splitter, so you can charge all 3 radios on one outlet. Comes with belt clip for each radio. They seem to hold their charge for quite a while.

These are easy to use and work well. They can be powered by the included NiMH batteries, or 3 AA batteries. That's a very nice feature when traveling long distances. The sound quality is good because the speaker is optimized for vocal frequencies. That makes speech intelligible regardless of distance. Users must understand that the stated maximum distance is only under ideal conditions. What is "ideal?" Direct line-of-sight, in good weather, far from cell towers, broadcast towers, with no large structures of reinforced concrete or mountains in between units. The best way to determine a fair distance is on a long straight stretch of level highway. We happen to live near such a highway and were both driving to visit our grandson, so we took these along to test. I let my wife leave first while I waited at a gas station, then contacted her every minute. She drove at precisely 60 MPH, so each minute equalled ONE mile of distance. We got consistent clear communication with no drop-outs up to eleven or twelve miles. There are numerous cell towers, hills and forests near this highway, so we got occasional drop-outs and missed pings. At some points along the road, we got decent communication up to fifteen miles. Considering the terrain and the low price of these radios, I think that is good. Two-Way Radios are very useful! You can use them for communications between vehicles in a caravan. I have used them on moves when we had to take TWO vehicles: a truck and a car. I know traveling musicians often use these to save on cell-phone roaming costs. The tour bus, truck and van can all stay informed if someone needs a break or help or gas. We have fun with our grandson using these too! These are compatible with headsets, so they would work well for motorcyclists. This year, we have been working from home. My office is downstairs. My wife's office is upstairs. I don't mind taking the stairs a few times each hour, but having these is helpful when we need to talk to each other but don't have the time to go up & down stairs, or if our phones are engaged for other business. So, although these are often pictured in camping scenes, they are well worth the small investment for many other uses. I have used two-way radios for over forty years. Although these are the least expensive radios I've used, they are among the best.

I received this product a couple of days ago and my granddaughter and i are are having a blast with them. The set includes three rechargeable batteries that are easily installed along with two chargers. One of the chargers has a second wire which allows you to charge two of the handsets and another single unit charger. It took several hours to fully charge the handsets but once charged they performed beautifully. Voices are crystal clear with no distortion and the range is stated at twenty miles. My granddaughter's school is about three miles away and we had no problems at that distance to hear each other.. I am having trouble with one of the handsets and the charging cord. It does not want to accept the charging cable at times to charge. At the moment i got it to charge but if the problem persists i will contact Motorola to see if they can remedy the problem. This is a very nice set with a long two year warranty.

Right out of the box, I'm impressed with this radio set. It includes 3 rechargeable packs, but if you run out of power in the field, three AA batteries will get a radio back on the air. You can also scan all 22 channels, which comes in handy to find the least used frequency in your operating area. As far as range is concerned, I tested it in a suburban area, with plenty of buildings in the way. From inside buildings, I found solid communications at a mile away. Outside to outside, we were able to communicate at 2 miles, but reception was scratchy. Urban range was advertised as one mile, so this unit exceeded expectations.
