Tapcon 3/16 in. x 3-1/2 in. Steel Carbide Tip Masonry Drill Bit is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great job Great job

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Dull I attempted to install a water hose holder on the front of my home. My home was built in 1966. The package states this bit would cut red brick but it barely cut into it. I'm a 230 pound weightlifter and it took all my strength and weight to drill only halfway before I realized it just wasn't going to cut any deeper after about 20-30 mins. I ended up cutting one of the bolts in half. No way this bit would cut another hole as I needed more than one. Maybe concrete would have been easier. This thing is junk if you have brick as I do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was actually really good no walking on me.Just use a spray bottle with water drilled down with very little force.

The Tapcon screws were horrible too. They sheared off even with a deep enough pilot hole. I wish I could rate this product with zero stars.
