I had planned to use this rug in the dining room but it was much too beautiful to hide under a table so I found I could use it better in the living room. The LR has odd angular walls as well as straight lines so the octagon shaped accentuated this feature. The colors are more vibrant than I expected.

We love the rug. The red in it is...
We love the rug. The red in it is a wine-red, and it was perfect. The sage green areas are more gray/green than sage green, it would have been helpful to know that, but it works. Lays flat, needs a small pad under it to keep it in place on a smooth floor.

Nice rug, but not as pictured
The rug looks nice, although not as well constructed as the one I replaced. I ordered this one because it looked almost exactly like the one I was replacing. However, the one I received was different from the one pictured on your site. The colors work in the location it's used and it wasn't worth the time, cost and trouble to return it.
