The ladder as a whole is excellent! It looks great, easy to use for kids and adults, good grips for hands as you climb. Bit of a bummer doesn’t come with bolts. And yes it’s hard to pull up because it’s filled with water but totally manageable.

Steps do not stay vertical when climbing up making it...
Steps do not stay vertical when climbing up making it more difficult. Will have to add additional support board on the side of the dock near top of ladder to try and remedy this problem. From photos, it looks like the 5 step ladder is subtly better designed. Wish I had noticed this difference before I purchased.

Opened at the lake to reveal no hardware (necessary) and...
Opened at the lake to reveal no hardware (necessary) and no instructions. Would not work correctly without bolts connecting the ladder to the base. Tried to use but the ladder would not hold my wife' body weight (110 lbs) without coming apart. Too far from a hardware store. Will try again next week.
