Answer This Question

A:  This demount clip snaps onto the pipe in a Push-to-Connect fitting and allows you to press against the collar in your fitting, which disengages the stainless steel teeth holding the pipe in place. This will allow you to remove the pipe from your push fitting for reuse. Please call us at (888) 229-2874 with any additional questions about this system.

    This tiny piece of plastic was only purchased in case I messed up and had to undo what was just pushed together. I've used this in the past at work/on the job multiple times without problems, it's cheap insurance, but it really should come with each fitting.
