Light Rock
This pumice stone is really light. Makes it easy to carry and store. This is a nice soil addition to add moisture and air to the plants. It is great for succulents. The pebbles are small and fit nicely in a pot. I enjoyed to fragile nature of these stones. They don't break glass containers when pouring them into them for planting. They show off the plants nicely with the white color contrast.

Pumice of the highest quality
The Bonsai Supply Horticultural Pumice is the cleanest (no dirt or dust), most uniformly-sized pumice I have purchased. Pumice is a natural volcanic rock that contains nutrients, and is porous so it helps roots breathe and maintain even moisture. This pumice is sourced in New Mexico, USA. I grow a lot of succulents, and I use this as a top-dressing and addition to a regular cactus/succulent potting mix to aerate the soil even more for my dudleyas.

Experimenting on Orchid plants
This pumice gravel mix is listed as a Bonsai potting mix. I wanted to try on my 3rd generation orchid plants to see if they would drain better than the old orchid mix I had used. The previous mix produced a lot of residue which clogged the drainage holes of the pot cauising root rot. Looking at the picture, the pumice did have some dust in the bag of "pre-washed" gravel, however a quick rinse prior to potting cleaned it up. Hopefully, this solves my problem and my plants produce the beautiful orchids this year. 5 Stars.

Very Nice Pumice
Such an elegant solution for small plants and even larger pots. My little cactus wasn't doing well in the small pot it was in, so I repotted it using some gravel in the bottom of the bag for drainage, added a layer so the only potting mix I had on hand then finished with this beautiful pumice. I think I will add a couple more plants soon as this pumice has given me a creative idea for a miniature garden in a bag!

Versatile
Bonsai Horticultural Pumice Who new! I am pleasantly surprised at the versatile use of this product. I selected it to give my bonsai plant a little sprucing up not fully aware of its endless uses. The pumice is ideal for growing flowers, fruits, vegetables, succulents, etc. it’s also 100% organic with many traces of vitamins & minerals vital to strong, healthy plants. There is no “dust” from the pea sized mixture. So glad I tried this product, looking forward to “helping” out my 15 indoor plants and learning more about horticulture pumice.

Great for container gardeners
I decided to try my hand at the world of Bonsai and now know that it takes too much of my time, currently. At the same time, I love all the accessories that come with other gardening niches. This product, which is like aquarium gravel, but more porous, can be used as a top of container soil treatment to help prevent evaporation and encourage more root development. By adding into the soil and amending it, you can be adding oxygen and grit., which breaks up clay frangipan in the soil.

Very nice "plant scape" product.
Although this product is designed and marketed for Bonsai use, I thought that it might be a very good product to use as a mulch or cover in my potted plants. The product is very consistent in size and color. Lightweight and porous so it can absorb water as a mulch would. Easy to apply and quite dust free. Looks great and I'm sure it will last. White color is a standout.

Perfect Pumice for Succulents
Bonsai Supply Pumice is a superior product to help with the aeration of your plants. This pumice is pre-washed and pre-sifted. I have added this to some of my houseplants to help with their aeration. This product along with all of their other products is sourced in the United States, packaged in bags made from recycled materials that are resealable. The size of the stone is approximately 1/4 inch.

Good size and color
These are nice pumice stones; good consistent size and an even white/light grey coloration. I use them for my succelents and bromeliads because pumice holds water and air, which help keep the soil well-conditioned and aerated. Because it is non-organic, it doesnt decompose or burn out (in the FL sun). Good to find them in this smaller size because some of my pots are quite small.

Great for succulents
I ordered these pumice stones for my succulent collection, I’m always propagating new plants and my pots looked a little bare, so I was excited to find this product with small stones for my pots. As you can see my cat is very interested too. I liked the stones, the white gives my pots a very polished look, I do also love to support a business that produces products in the U.S. I found the stones to be high quality and great for my small project.
