The Forever Round Cap will fit, single wall stove pipe, masonry round clay pipe, flexible chimney lining systems and double wall chimney pipe. Slips inside the chimney flue, secures with a pressure fit. 24 Gauge, 17 in. x 17 in. hood, one piece base with built in screening that is 8 in. high. Superior animal proof oval 3/4 in. hole mesh prevents creosote buildup. O.D. size is 9-7/8 in. made to fit into 10 in. chimney pipe. Copper, 5/8 in. mesh screening and customs sizes are also available.

AnswerNo. It is an exact fit. You may have to get an adaptor. 11 inch would fit outside and have a lot of slack. 10 inch would fit inside with slack. Both would not be stable. Measure the diameter again.

The measurements and picture for this product are incorrect. It says it is 17 inches, but no part of this is bigger than 14 inches. The top part in the picture appears to extend 3-4 inches beyond the part that fits in the 10" ID flue on each side, which would make sense with the 17 inch measurement given. However, in actuality the sides extend a mere 2 inches on each side of the round portion. This does not provide the amount of coverage needed for my uses and I will need to return this product. Very frustrating for both picture and measurements to be incorrect.
