Strong and well made wardrobe box. Great for hanging clothes. The instructions are great and right on the box itself. Even has a computer square for you to get additional instructions if needed. Stores flat so it is easy to store when not needed. The support bar that holds the hangers is really strong. There are hand grips on the side to make it easy to move and carry.

The wardrobe is very easy to put together and very sturdy. It is also easy to store because it closes back into a completely flat state. It is perfect for putting my winter and summer clothes in the attic on hangers as opposed to boxing them up. It helps stop everything from becoming crushed and wrinkled. You can close the top to keep your clothes fresh and clean, I love it!

I am really impressed with the wardrobe moving box. The product is a 3-pack and comes flat-packed and shrink-wrapped. There is a good video on the assembly process but you won't need it - the procedure is simple and intuitive with a touch of genius. Once assembled, the box can handle a good set of hangered clothing and the built-in hand hold slots make for easy transport.

These are functional boxes that do what they should. The only reason I am knocking the rating down and would not buy them again, is because of the cost. You can get roughly 60 plastic hangers to hang inside the box. It does get difficult as you start packing the box with clothes. The boxes are sturdy and keep shape while moving and being stacked upon. It they were $10/box, I would consider them again. I would also notch out one of the hanger supports to give you a little more room to hang your hangers. It was very hard to get all the plastic hangers in there.

I scanned the QR code (the square code you often see on products) on the box and it quickly ran a short video on folding the box. It’s that simple. The box is 100% recyclable and you don’t have a metal hanger bar to deal with. No tape is required as the bottom locks into place and the top folds in. The double-folded corrugated bar included with each box is plenty strong enough. The boxes can be stacked and come with hand holes in just the right spots. I would recommend.

I love these moving boxes! They are sturdy and extremely well-designed, literally taking less than one minute to assemble (without reading the directions!). There is a code on the box to scan for a how-to video, but you probably won't need it. Got a few of these as the oldest will be heading off to college soon, but they would also be great for storage and can be used over and over. Convenient carrying handles. Great product that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

These would be perfect if...very pleased with the overall quality of these boxes. Assembly is super simple. You can even scan the QR code printed on the box to watch an assembly video. The box is extremely sturdy and could hold up under the stresses of a move. It states that it can hold up to like 45 hangers, I think that is a real stretch. I wouldn’t put anywhere near that many in a box. It features “Move Easy” handles for carrying which is very convenient. The only reason why this product doesn’t get 5 stars is because it’s not quite tall enough of a box to hold adult clothes on hangers without them bunching up at the bottom of the box. Not perfect, but close! Will definitely help you “pack like the pros”.

The Home Depot Wardrobe moving box comes in a three pack. These are tough - well constructed boxes. Each box will hold 45 hanging items. The instructions are printed on each box for you to follow and put them together. Different from old style boxes where they required a metal bar to hold them together after assembly. These boxes have double walled cardboard that slides together and the clothes hang from them. I have moved all my life with over four decades in the military so I know. It a very easy to assemble box.

First the good. Some quality engineering ideas went into designing these boxes. These are all-around nice moving boxes; inexpensive, convenient to use, and easy to assemble. And no tape required, just fold in some tabs. Initially, the box pretty much unfolds into an assembled position, the bottom just needs a slight push down to pop into locked position. Tear off the crossbar attached to the inside, remove adhesive strip, fold, and press down into the provided slots, and you are pretty much ready to go, easy peasy. BTW, there's a QR code on the box that takes you to a nice assembly video, check it out (see pic). Now the problems. Box is lighter weight cardboard then you would expect. Handles fold under, and have a nice crease on them for added strength, but the cardboard is still lightweight, so there's a risk that they won't hold up under weight. The crossbar is a nice idea, that works fine, but you give up 3” of height versus the metal bar boxes. By using the slots on the hanging bar, you have 31” of hanging length, instead of the 34” you would have with the metal bar. And based on my test with some of my shirts (large), that's the difference between stuff hanging freely, and stuff hitting the bottom and folding over. So that's a really important difference to me, and I'd have to say that alone is a deal-breaker. Also, in the video, it shows someone testing the box out by hanging four articles of clothing, & closing it up, which if you're anything like me, is kind of a joke. My wardrobe moving boxes would have as many hanging clothes as I could possibly fit in them! Plus, kind of a small thing, but still, the cardboard crossbar sticks out an inch and a half on each side, which the metal one doesn't, so it's another factor in your moving you have to take into account. For me, in spite of some of the neat features of these boxes, I think I'd go for the “recyclable” metal bar ones...just sayin’...

This is a box to be used to transport clothing that you don’t particularly want to take off the hangers and fold up to pack in a box for fear they will get wrinkled.
The box is a heavy corrugated cardboard that alone weighs about 5 pounds. There are no assembly instructions but the diagrams are pretty self-explanatory. It’s very easy to put together. Simply remove the hanger bar from inside the box flap, remove the strip from the adhesive, and fold in half. Simply place the bar in the notches of the box and it’s ready to go.
Because the front flap of the box folds down about halfway up, it makes loading the box very easy. Once the box has been packed, the top flaps fold down with tabs that fit securely in the top of the box to keep it closed.
The overall size of the box is 20” square by 35” high when closed. However, once assembled, any articles of clothing over 30” long including the hanger are going to lay on the bottom of the box. So if you have skirts or slacks longer than 30 inches they may get wrinkled along the bottom.
This would be a great idea to use if you were moving long distances or have articles of clothing that you want to put into storage but still want to be protected. If simply moving across town, I prefer to use a hanger bar across the backseat of my vehicle. Clothes are easier to transport that way as this box would be too big to fit in any vehicle other than the bed of a pick up truck or, of course, a moving van.
