    A:  You can use the larger side of those cheap hand held pencil sharpeners and it worked just fine for me.

      A:  Home Depot sells a sharpener that’s large enough to use on these pencils. I buy the pencils in the multi pack I think there are 10 or 12 pencils in the pack and it comes with the sharpener. My contractor is always losing his pencil and he’s always asking me if I have one so I just started to stock up and I’m prepared now for him!
