Approximately eight years ago, I had a landscaper re-landscape our back yard. At that time, the landscaper planted three Dwarf Pygmy Palms among other types of plants. These palms did very well until the record heat wave of 2020 when they died. I decided to replace the palms that the landscaper planted with three Dwarf Pygmy Palms from Home Depot. The newly planted palms lasted 6-9 months and died. I replaced the palms with three palms again purchased at Home Depot. The palms lasted about 6-9 months and died. Approximately one month ago I once again went to Home Depot and purchase three new palms. This time, two of the three palms are doing well but the third one is starting to die. The palms are planted in the same soil, in the same vicinity to each other, given the same nutrients and watered the same amount. The palms are not over or under watered according to two nurseries.

The plant is beautiful, seems healthy, and perfect for the purpose I purchased it. BUT it came with ZERO information about care and there wasn't even a tag or sticker saying what the plant was. The woman working in the garden center didn't have a clue!
