Finish peels away
Bought white cottage style cabinets 5 or so years ago. The white seems to be a very thin film or coating, and it's splitting and peeling apart in several places at the edges of the bevels and where the inner corners meet. Thomasville says they won't replace under the warranty, says it's wear and tear and water damage (it's not). After the finish splits, if you try to clean the doors, the MDF absorbs and expands, making it worse. Thomasville said I'd need to buy replacement doors from Home Depot. Over $800 to buy 4 doors.
Spent 24k on these cabinets and I’ve had to put the shelves to my table saw to get them to fit and drawers were not aligned correctly and they want me to fix it. That kind of quality you might as well go cheaper. Makes no difference.
We worked with a Home Depot designer to order our kitchen cabinets. Everything about that process was great and went smoothly. And to speak to the construction/color/quality of the cabinets, my wife and I are incredibly please. The all plywood construction is sturdy, the alder looks beautiful, and the color cast ember cabinets color is perfect and compliments the alder. That said, I cannot recommend these cabinets.
Upon receiving our cabinets, we noticed there was noticeable damage on many of the door/drawer faces, as well as two of the cabinet boxes themselves. Mind you, this was not damage due to shipping; these cabinets had factory defects consisting of hundreds of tiny scratches all over the rails/stiles of several doors/drawer faces of the color cast cabinets, as well as peeling veneer side panels on visible sides of our rustic alder cabinets. This shouldn't have been a big issue - we submitted photos with descriptions within 2 days, and we had originally been informed turn around time for these order defects would be two weeks.
Unfortunately, Kraftmaid immediately cancels our order because they think we caused the damage in the field without even talking to us. Thankfully our HD designer pushed back, and they got the order replaced, but apparently Kraftmaid had to do an inquiry at the factory to determine why there was so much damage and have used that as an excuse to further delay our order. After weeks of no update, we finally got a scheduled delivery date for replacements of May 5th, 6 weeks after our initial delivery of March 23rd. However, about a week before scheduled delivery, I get another call asking me to schedule for May 29th. Apparently the May 5th order only contains one of our many replacements needed, and the color cast replacements won't come until May 29th. I am informed on the phone that because it is a "custom" color it takes longer. How can it be a custom color if we chose one that Kraftmaid offers? So now we are looking at 2+ months of no progress being made on the kitchen while we wait for delivery. Then, just today, I receive a call - our cabinets are being further delayed to June 2nd, 10 weeks from our original delivery date. This is absolutely unacceptable. Especially when I consider the fact that the cabinet replacement that arrived May 5th had damage - a ding on the face, and defects on the side. Thankfully the door covers the ding and the side defects are up high enough to be covered by the shorter cabinet on the side, since we went ahead with install because we are tired of waiting. But now I have zero faith in the colorcast replacements coming without issue, and if the two replacement boxes come with damage we will have to postpone our counter install even further. What would have been a 3 month kitchen renovation has turned into at least 6 months, with the potential for Kraftmaid to further extend this timeline due to their poor manufacturing/quality control standards. Considering we paid $20k+ for 11 cabinet boxes, I am more than upset at how Kraftmaid has handled themselves.
tl:dr - Cabinets WILL come with damage, Kraftmaid will try to claim it's your fault, then the two week turn around time will transform into 10 weeks and your kitchen renovation will be held hostage.
I have tried THREE TIMES to meet with a Home Depot consultant to order these cabinets and STILL haven't met with anyone!! I even scheduled a VIRTUAL consulatation and the person (Marie Hall) did not show up.

Great little Cabinet my wife has not yet decided which she wants
Cabinets were fine until Home Dept Installation Company ruined them. Now no response to install new.
We purchased 5 cabinets for our laundry room. They are Thomasville quick ship. Home Depot contracts with an outside company who came to check the cabinet and all was good. Than he had two guys show up to install them one day. They ruined the finish on 4 out of 5 cabinets. They cracked one because they tightened too tight, So the Installer ordered new doors and a new cabinet. He told me my expectations were too high, unbelievable!
We have received a call that the new order is coming, so I have emailed the installation company Lance, telling him the cabinet are coming, when can we get an installation date. NO response. That was last week. I called his scheduler and left a message asking the same, no response. He was paid and now doesn't respond.
DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT INSTALLERS!
