Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read through tins of reviews and agonized over which ice maker to buy. I am.so happy with this purchase. I love ice and I live at the beach so having ice readily available in a large amount is important. This product is great. It's only slightly louder than the dishwasher whish was super important to me. I am so thrilled with this purchase.

Don't buy unless you want to break up your ice
The Ice comes out in sheets and doesn't get cut up. It's a pain because you have to use the scoop and hit the ice to try and break it up before putting it in a glass. I emailed customer service and showed them photos. They responded by saying that's just the way the machine works. I would have NEVER bought this machine if I had known. It's horrible and a pain. We even had to buy a metal scoop because we were afraid that the plastic one that came with the machine would break.

This machine is Penelope approved !!

For her water bowl we use a igloo cooler . We go through two bins of ice every day . The ice maker is always full when the queen
Summons me to replenish her ice water .
This machine is a beast !!

Better than expected
