So they look awesome in my kitchen - they are NOT as easy as tic tac toe, but they are super forgiving for mistakes. It took me two days to do my backsplash - and I admit that I had to pull portions of it down and re-install. A month later, the tiles are affixed nicely. The tiles were fine to reinstall - I’ll say that the directions are geared more for large, unencumbered walls. For smaller and complicated areas, like backsplashes, pay more attention to the pattern during install rather than following the directions.

Very happy with the end result! At times, was challenging...
Very happy with the end result! At times, was challenging to cut the pieces to fit ; was very much like solving a very sticky puzzle in tight quarters. Three months after installing the tiles, they look exactly the same. The only minor issue is some slight lifting along the “grout” line in three spots. But if I reseal them by pressing along the grout line, it reseals. These add so much light to our space and are a perfect solution until we renovate our kitchen in a few years.

Much more difficult to work with than I had anticipated....
Much more difficult to work with than I had anticipated. Watched a video and looked very easy. I had trouble cutting around electrical outlets. Measurements and getting started was very stressful. I thought I was going to have to remove all and just accept the loss. Did finally get all applied and left it up but it was touch and go for a while there.

The tiles pop up quite a lot, giving it a realistic look. Water seems to wipe off of the surface really well and I haven't seen any signs of the adhesive peeling/weakening over time. Definitely recommend as a fast/cheap alternative to real tile!
