Q:My battery I have is less than a year old. I am using charger model#88602 with battery pack model#88625. Battery will not charge. I've tried everything suggested. It charges with the green light flashing for about 10 minutes, then changes to flashing red.

    A:  Hi, Izzy! Thanks for your question. One possibility is that there is an error in the communication between the battery pack and the charger. Try to remove the battery pack from the battery charger, unplug the battery charger from the outlet, and wait 10 seconds. Then plug the battery charger into the outlet again and place the battery pack on the battery charger. If the LED indicator light on the battery charger is still blinking red, repeat this procedure again. If the LED indicator light on the battery charger is still blinking red after 2 attempts, please feel free to contact Toro Customer Support at 1-888-384-9939. Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm CST. Thanks!

          A:  Hi, Larry! Thanks for your question. Yes, all Toro 60v batteries will work across all Toro 60v tools. However, it is not suggested to use the 2.0ah or 2.5ah battery as your single source of power in either the snow blower or the lawn mower due to the power requirement in those types of applications. The 2.0ah or the 2.5ah battery would be best used to supplement a 4.0ah, 6.0ah or 7.5ah battery for additional run time. Thanks!

            good runtime - make sure you dont run it to zero lights. If it wont charge take it to the local Toro dealer because they have a procedure to get it back online.

                  Crap battery
                  Second one we’ve had for the toro motor and this one died and won’t recharge either. After almost two yrs it fails. $150 per summer for an electric mower not to mention the cost of the mower is too expensive and doesn’t support an EV model.

                          Poor battery life
                          I changed from a gas mower to electric after researching different brands. Toro seemed to be the top ranked over EGO and Ryobi. The battery only lasted 15 months. Luckily it was under warranty, but finding a Toro dealer and filing a claim was a hassle. It took 3 weeks to get a replacement battery, as there wasn't any stock at the store. We had to borrow a neighbor's mower 3 times before a battery was delivered. Hoping this battery lasts more than 15 mos. Considering going back to gas powered if it dies again.
