It’s ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery doesn’t last as long as expected. I have a small yard and the charge doesn’t make it though cutting the complete yard on one charge.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that Toro's battery 88660 isn’t running as long as you expected. Using the machine in high power mode constantly can reduce runtime. Use the high or turbo speed only in areas where you need more power to extend your battery run time. If you are still having trouble, please bring your battery, charger, and machine to your dealer for a proper diagnosis. Any of our Authorized Service Dealers can inspect, repair and replace your 88660, if necessary, and get you up and running as soon as possible. Please visit Toro.com/locator to find a dealer in your area.

    Better than gas
I bought the Toro 3 in one mower (20363) 1 1/2 years ago. It came with a 6.0 amp hour battery. Using the side discharge, it takes two bars of power to cut my 4000 ft yard. I can cut it twice on one charge. It takes three bars if I mulch. A couple times I cut the neighbor's 5000 ft yard along with mine while he was on vacation. Using the side discharge, it mowed both on a single charge once and died with a couple strips left on the second occaision. I did a little trimming while it charged for 30 minutes, then finished. Toro says it will cut up to 1/3 acre (14,000) feet. Seems like 9000 feet is its limit and then if you are side discharging. The battery has plenty of power even when low and is fine for my small yard.

        poor battery life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this a total of 3 times. First time was ok: i did the front lawn, charged it for 2 hours and did the back lawn. the second time it lasted a little less and took longer to get a full charge. The third time however was a pain. I had to recharge the battery 3 times and took way longer to recharge, like 5 or more hours. granted the grass was a bit long but c'mon I didn't use the self propelled feature at all.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that Toro's battery mower isn’t running as long as you expected. Mowing thick, wet grass can lower runtime significantly. We recommend slowing down your cutting speed, raising the height of cut or mowing half swaths to extend your battery run time. If you are still having trouble, please bring your battery, charger, and machine to your dealer for a proper diagnosis. Any of our Authorized Service Dealers can inspect, repair and replace your 88660, if necessary, and get you up and running as soon as possible. This is the Battery that should come with the mower. I'm mowing 14,000 Sq. Ft. and cut 2 times a week, my lawn is well maintained and very dense. If the RPM ramps up it takes all the battery power.
