Terrible for full room!
Thickness difference between tiles is huge - seams look awful. Measured thickness as low as 7mm and as high as 9.4mm. 1 out of 10 has the puzzle cutouts cut wrong so you end up with terrible gaps. Color difference between boxes is tremendous. Advertised as 18” tiles but they are really 16”. Would have needed 4 more boxes than originally planned. All around horrible product. Returning 18 cases of these and buying higher quality for less cost online.

Not too bad
As others have mentioned there are variations in the consistency of color and thickness. Regard coverage if you lay out the tiles by box and add the border pieces you maximize coverage. You will end up with blocks of 2 x 3 tiles.

Great floor tiles. Used in a basement home gym....
Great floor tiles. Used in a basement home gym. Lined the entire parameter of half side of basement last year (2020) and they are holding up great through workouts. They don't absorb moisture which is good in a damp basement. Just ordered another 10 cases to finish up second half of basement. They are pricey if covering a large area but the quality and durability is worth it.

Inconsistent color, pattern and thickness
After laying 200sf of these tiles and trying to rearrange, even tear out, and replace with new tiles, there is so much inconsistency to the pattern, fleck, color, even sheen and thickness, my floor looks like a patchwork quilt. Some tiles are near black, where others are close to blue. Do not expect a uniform floor. Disappointing results.

Overall good
For the price point and the overall comfort when walking on them, these are a good home gym option. As others noted, if you are tiling a larger area and using several packs, you will have a lot of waste. I used 18 packs to cover 20x14 space, see pics for pile of unused edging. Also, there is inconsistent coloring, though the manufacturer does call that out on the label, so either be ok with it or buy something else. I did not notice a smell, but I did also spend the last two days putting waterproofing paint on the walls, so I can’t smell much of anything right now LOL.

The description says each box comes with 14.32’ sq. of product, but if you’re interlocking these together and discarding the edge pieces, you end up with about 11.5’ sq. per box, and a ton of edge pieces you can’t use (maybe I can find some use for them. Still, at $3.45 per sq. foot, this is cheaper than most alternatives. For the most part, the tiles seem well-built, although the colors do vary slightly from box to box. If you buy these, try to find boxes that are the same color, from what I can tell, there is a lighter shade and darker shade, the difference is the amount of blue (inconsistent from box to box). I may try to replace some of the lighter ones I’ve installed with darker - that seems to be the more common shade. They do stink; I’m hoping if I open the garage door, turn on some fans and light some candles, it will eventually dissipate. Some reviewers say these are hard to clean, I don’t find that to be the case. Just a little ArmorAll and terry cloth seemed to work really well. Bottom line, don’t put these in your kitchen, they’re not meant for that. But if you’re building a home gym (assuming the smell eventually goes away), these are a good flooring option. They will protect your floor and look nice installed, especially if you try to buy similar colored boxes.

Poor product stay away! - Misleading description - add 25% wastage!!
These mats are thick and seem very durable, but they are hard to work with and the seems don’t align always. Also there are tiles whose thickness vary.
The smell is definitely of off-putting, very strong and will probably off-gas for a long time.
Biggest issue however is the coverage. The box says 14.32 sqf but in reality this will give 11.5 sqf at the max. A 12*12= 144 sqf space will require 14 boxes of materials that should be enough to cover 200 sqf going by the description on the front of the box. That’s over 25% wastage! Not to mention they also give you tons of offcuts to form the edges that are basically manufacturing wastage that you can’t use! It will go to trash that you paid for.
Poor product! Misleading! Stay away from it.

This is really tough stuff and would be great for a weight room. It has a helluva new tire smell when you get it and for a few weeks after that. It snaps together with a rubber hammer and once it is together it stays together. It isn't soft enough to serve as an anti-fatigue mat, but that isn't its goal. The grit is pretty aggressive, which is good for traction but hard on your hands, knees or back if you are working out without a shirt on.

Works fine. Looks good. Hard to clean. Dog hair sticks to it . I had a couple of pieces that have a band it the side and when pieces together, there's a crack that sand is getting down into. Sand is more than likely getting between all the lines. Caution moving it if you care about the floor under it. It does the job though.
