Hello and thank you for your inquiry. For peel and stick products such as the TrafficMaster Carrara Marble, typically cement board is not an ideal substrate to use as a subfloor. However, if extensive subfloor prep takes place, then it could be used. In order for the cement board to be prepared for peel-n-stick tiles, it would need to be firm and flat. A use of a patching compound to make it smooth. And would also need to a minimum of two coats of primer - as it would be too porous otherwise. Hope that helps with your project questions. Thank You -
They are easy to remove if you haven't used any additional adhesives. I had a couple of mine lifted and rearranged in due course, and it was easy. It may leave a slight sticky residue back on the original floor underneath, which would need extra scrubbing with soap to clean.
Yes, please copy and paste the attached installation video link to your browser for the TrafficMaster Peel and Stick Vinyl. https://youtu.be/lMiMkotJb3Y
30, as each is 1 sq ft, with 39 sq ft per box.
Once you make sure the floor is absolutely cleaned of any previous glue, tape, etc., you won't need any sealer if you purchased the tiles already sticky or with glue.
I think the Manufacturer or Company just may be able to accommodate you about a few tiles to purchase. Sometimes people return items that may be damaged or just old and they may sell a few individual tiles. It sounds crazy but we are living in crisis and have to do something to maintain our health! Lol, Lol, Lol....
Yes ! Of course, it’s very lite to install, but strong on your motor home or manufacturing home flooring. I found out it’s also flexible and contract with weather once it’s sealed .
Yes. I put them over existing tiles that i had
White with grey marbling
In think these are suitable for a trailer. I added contact cement to the tile as an extra adhesive. You can buy at the Home Depot.
