Q:I want to install this over a vinyl tile floor where a few of old tiles are missing. Do I need to fill in the missing tile spaces with leveling compound, or can this floor be put down over the missing tile spaces because the missing tiles are so thin?

Good Product. Floors Look Great.
We had this product professionally installed three weeks ago. We can find NO FAULT anywhere. The installers spent a full day prepping the floor, scraping the concrete, and leveling high and low spots using both a grinder and concrete compounds. If you want a successful installation, take the time to properly prep the floors. This is key to a successful installation.

Buy it if you want to experience intense anger
I realized quickly that the installation instructions were worthless. You have to put together a full length of flooring and snap it onto the previous length in one piece. Not easy to do but it works. The fun really came at the end when placing the last row near the wall I had to recut each piece multiple times because the cheap click-lock breaks easily, and disconnects with any slight movement. It looks ok but this was the most infuriating product I have ever installed and do not recommend.

Gorgeous new vinyl plank
Looks beautiful not too dark or light. Perfect warm color makes the room look so much larger and brighter. Easy to clean, looks like wood. Love it!

Absolute garbage, do not buy!
I wish I would have seen the reviews of this product before I bought and installed this stuff. I even paused with concern seeing how thin the lip that snaps together was compared to other flooring I've used without issue. I should have listened. Within 6 months it started cracking at the seams... and now, not even 2 years in it needs fully torn out. Home Depot should be ashamed for selling this crap and sticking their customers with no warranty if not installed by them...

Traffic Master winding brook
Im sorry i bought this flooring. Its almost a year old and under kitchen chairs where we use its cracking and warping. Ive got $1800 dollars worth of it on my floors and in less than a year it needs some replced.

Don't buy
Don't waste your time and money on this product just give Home Depot the $5000 or whatever you plan on spending on this flooring and let them slap you around with it. Not worth it. It looks really nice for a few months but then starts cracking. Warranty is only valid if they install it. If I were you I would just go with tile. As my friend says, "spend once, cry once."

Total garbage
We installed this floor from Home Depot in July of 2021. Within 2 weeks, chipping was noticed. It is now needs to be replaced. After many calls and visits to the store, an inspector came out and said the problem was due to our subfloor, voiding the warranty, even though he was not able to see it. We are out our money and much labor to install this. I will never make another major purchase from Home Depot after this experience. We need to replace our floor and are very apprehensive after this.

Broken and coming up
We are heartbroken by this flooring! It started cracking and coming up within a month and now is dangerous to walk on without tripping or cutting your feet! It is just too cheaply made and thin to really be any good. They need to go back to the drawing board and add a few mm to it. After having 2,200 SQ ft installed we are out 15K and no one is responsible for it! It took literally a year to get that answer too. Please find a thicker more durable flooring.
