I was able to successfully install this as a new...
I was able to successfully install this as a new floor in my son room he’s only 3 and loves to jump around so I didn’t want him getting hurt on the tile floor. I’m very satisfied with the finished look.

QUICK AND BEAUTIFUL TRANSFORMATION

short on Sq footage
boxes say 36 Sq ft each box.my room measures 8.5 ' 8.6 = 72.25 Sq ft. cabinet is is builtin and 4 Sq ft. leaving 68.25 square ft.came up short by 2 panelscame up shot. space to cover was only 68 Sq ft. box says 36 Sq ft each.

Hello Roger - thank you for the product review. Looking at your room calculation of 8.5 x 8.6 - that equates to 73.1 square feet. Taking out the 4 sq ft from the cabinet = leaves a room square footage of 69.1. With this product, each carton covers 36 square feet. You would have needed (2) cartons to complete this floor. It is also recommended to add between 5% - 10% to allow for miss-cuts and waste. Not sure about your local Home Depot, but some locations sell by the piece and carton. If only by the carton, we would have suggested to purchase 3 cartons to cover the project. Thanks -

Lots of issues
Very cheap easy to install product. Went down great but has continued to present issue since the second day when I noticed edges starting to peel up. I acclimated over 48 hours and utilized a primer before sticking to a clean concrete surface.

Hi John123 and thanks for your review and feedback. We are sorry to hear about your installation experience with the TrafficMaster Taupe Oak 6" x 36" peel & stick vinyl plank. This product is designed to work on concrete. However, with exceptions: They are not for use on below grade concrete (such as basements), or concrete areas with moisture or alkalinity present. It is also recommended that the subfloor first be primed using a latex-based primer. Then after installation, the planks are to be rolled with a 100 lb roller or hand roller, once right after application and then again when finished. If you feel you followed all the instructions, and that this may be manufacturing related, please reach out to a Flooring Specialist at your local Home Depot, and they can initiate a claim with the manufacturer. Used in a non traditional format
I purchased a box of this flooring for a quick wall project. It was very easy to work with (literally you can cut with scissors) for this application. The adhesive might work well via the proper installation on a floor, since I was putting it on a wall that was uneven, plaster was missing and it had a rough texture, I used basic kids Elmers glue. Yes, basic glue. Many people recommend spray adhesive but I was trying to do this as inexpensively as possible since it was such a small area. It ended up working out great. Looks just as expected and honestly, nobody would ever know I did it myself!

I love the product. It looks great and it is thicker than I thought it would be. I started out with a ceramic tile floor, which was not completely level. This did make planking slightly harder, but the finished product still looks great. It was a great deal! I renovated a very small restroom and all I needed was one box with leftovers! Would definitely buy again.
