Im looking for a grey peel and stick ... Is this more tan or grey ???

Going with grey as well. I put some as a temporary floor in the living room (288 sq. ft.) and painted the walls with Behr's "Perfect Taupe". It looks grey, yet it still has the taupe/neutral look so you can match it with anything. I DID NOT think my olive green furniture would look very good, but since it's not a "true grey", you still have the versatility of a taupe. Taupe is a funny color. It can be a "brownish grey" or a "greyish brown". This one is the latter. Hope that helps.

I would advise buying a ceramic glue to make sure they stick and wont slide. The grout lines will not show through the tiles as they are very thick

Are there any other products needed or recommended when installing this peel and stickflooring?

Answers

YES! You can look up the installation instructions beforehand. What was a big surprise to me on a second floor bedroom is I could not just rip up carpet and install. I needed to first install an underlayment- thin wood sheets screwed into the subfloor- and that took time and more trips to Home Depot. After all the work- I do love the floor. But would not have done it if I knew about that extra work beforehand.

Can you put this over hard plywood

Hello and thank you for your inquiry! FOR PLYWOOD Panels shall be exterior underlayment grade, sanded face, properly installed and secured with 1/8” gap around the perimeter of the room. Do not install over chipboard, OSB, luan plywood, mohagany-based plywood underlayments, Masonite™, cement board, fiber-based backing boards, or any other non-underlayment grade panels. Please refer to our full Installation and Care Guide found on this products' information page on HomeDepot.com for useful tips to ensure maximum enjoyment of your new floor!

Yes. They are $0.97 per piece. But, you should always have extra planks on hand, just in case you need to replace a plank or two later. You'd hate to need them later, but the brand is no longer carried.

I liked that these are 36 inch panels shaped like real boards. The result is a wood looking floor that goes down easily. The only tools needed are scissors and a straight edge.

I knew this was just like regular vinyl tiles so I did not expect it to be as good as regular laminate flooring. But I really wanted to get rid of my old stinky carpet and I could only afford to either paint the concrete floor or try this! I’m so glad I tried this because I am thrilled. It’s the only product easy enough for me to do as a 59 yo woman. I’m too afraid to use major electric cutting tools. So this is perfect for what I wanted. What I told myself was that if I ended up not liking it, worst case scenario is that it is a fancy subfloor for a few years until I can afford to have laminate installed over the top of it. I plan to do another whole level with this stuff. It cost me $350 for enough planks to do one level. It would cost thousands to have a laminate floor installed. So I am very happy with this and for any planks that don’t stick, I used gorilla glue or liquid nails and weights. Problem fixed! Super easy and fun to install!!!

We decided to revamp our entire kitchen on a budget; I found this product and I fell in love with the taupe oak color of this flooring. We deep cleaned our linoleum tile and used Henry’s floor primer. We did our entire kitchen, dining room, and hallway. It took us a full day and a half to lay all the flooring. We noticed a few planks weren’t completely coated with the adhesive, so we set those aside for the time being. A handful of planks also just didn’t want to stick, so we plan on applying an extra adhesive to those individual pieces. We’re so happy with the results. It’s been about 3 weeks, and we haven’t noticed any issues.

Junk flooring
Laid nearly 30 boxes of this in my home, a large portion failed within a week, just had to buy 12 more boxes, and even that is lifting already, floors were scraped with a razorblade, and used henry 336 floor primer and a floor roller, had i known this was going to be such a terrible product i would have paid extra for the click together flooring, it also wasnt complete rooms that failed, theres no rhyme or reason as to why its doing this, some of the boards didnt even have all the adhesive on it, pulled out one or two that was only half coated, avoid this product altogether
