This product does not have a pre-drilled hole for a soap dispenser, so you would need to drill a hole yourself if you wish to add one.

I jokingly told my plumber that I "did the hard part" which was assembling the stand to save him some time. Because he has been very busy, he agreed to remove my old sink and install the new one as soon as he had some time. The stand itself was so easy, My biggest problem was help from my pets who thought that the rollers for the bottom rack were for them to play with...they finally took great interest in the shipping box, and I was able to put it together in about 25 minutes. The sink was installed this morning and is perfect. I have an older house with a 1-1/2" drain pipe. This sink has made my life so much easier. My plumber was impressed because, the sink is 18-gauge steel, which usually is not the case. I would recommend this sink for anyone in an older home with washing machines that discharge the water rather quickly. The sink is also a good height, I will be able to wash my dog, and clean items that are too big for your standard sink. One final observation, I was very impressed by the packing, the sink came in two large boxes (my cats were ecstatic with that) surrounded with hard Styrofoam that was molded to the shape of the sink.

            Sprung a geiser unexpectedly!
We loved it until after a year, the faucet sprung a leak where the rubber black part connects to the base. I don’t know how to get it fixed or just replace it. Bummer!!!

Beautiful design, fantastic faucet; mixed quality
The design of this stainless steel utility sink stands out with a highly flexible faucet and handy hose attachment. However, some important quality concerns exist. The supplied P-trap drain - made of subpar plastic - may need an upgrade before install. Critically - the basin doesn't drain very well, possibly inviting rust. A stainless steel clearcoat could alleviate this. Despite these issues, with a few budget-friendly enhancements, the sink's attractive design might justify the investment.

                Rusting after 35 days
Looks great, not a single piece requires construction. Apparently cheap, low quality steel because it started rusting after only a month. See photo. Very disappointing for $650.

                  Rust
First let me start that the sink is beautiful and what I expected. The flexible faucet really comes in handy. However, the cons outweigh everything. First, the sink started to rust within 30 days of using it. I tried to scrub it out thinking they must be stains as how can a stainless steel sink rust. Well, it is rust and it's happening in multiple places. I saw someone else also reported the same under the reviews. Water pressure is low (it takes forever to fill up a bucket) but they did state that is has a low flow so they were transparent. Now I have to work with Transolid to see if they will stand by it. Ofcourse, they want it in writing, mailed, etc.....

                    Overall its ok.
It is a little flimsy for 900$ would have felt better paying half that.

                    already falling apart
faucet started leaking / spraying water after 2 months use.

The stainless steel utility sink is high quality. We love the deep sink, the stainless steel bottom mat, the towel bar and storage shelf below. The flexible faucet is a bit stiff yet works well.

                      Premium price subpar product
I would have liked to leave zero stars for this review. Transolid is likely one of if not the most expensive brands for utility sinks. Well they may offer several different sizes that may fit your space, I cannot in good conscience recommend purchasing one. I had to order one in to fit my space, paid a premium for it, waited a week for it to arrive and when it arrived at the store it had been damaged in transit not due to mishandling but due to poor packaging from the factory. So, it had to go back and I had to order another one and wait another week for it to arrive. Luckily the second one arrived undamaged. While the sprayer neck is flexible, it is very stiff. I'd rather have a spring type as it's more flexible, easier to work with and less offensive to the senses. The sprayer didn't work from day 1 but I assumed it was poor pressure (it was not). Always read the warranty fine print. Although the page is titled limited lifetime warranty, it does not apply to all components and does not include shipping of any kind. They will make you jump through an insurmountable number of hoops, provide a vast array of documentation and all but require the information to be notarized by a disinterested third party just to have a conversation that could end up with them denying the claim anyway even if installed by one of their factory trained technicians because you registered a complaint while it was raining after 3:00 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon even though the item was clearly defective. Best of luck to all who dare purchase one of their utility sinks (for the record, I have never had an issue with a Glacier Bay all in one utility sink).
