Q:can this pot be used for hyacinth bulbs

Answer This Question
A: I don't see why not! But, from what I know of, bulbs need open soil for the roots to expand within its soil environment. This is a better pot is better for succulents since they can handle a crowded / confined soil environment.
I used my pot for a Silk floral arrangement, so I didn't have to worry about live plants with rooting issues.

A: Yes, but I'm using it for succulents.

A: Hyacinth bulbs do well in shallow pots that are 4”-6” deep. The Caspian could be a good choice. Send us a photo once your bulbs bloom! Thank you.

I had purchased the "half pot" for a decorating project in my office, as I'm doing a Hawaiian-Ocean- nautical theme.
On one wall of the office, I have an assortment of hand painted ocean pictures and Hawaiian photography. - To bring everything together, (I actually purchased two other pots that I put realistic looking tropical ferns in. As the main focal piece, I put the large half pot in the center, for which I put a Hawaiian arrangement in it.
With emphasis in statement regarding the Trendspot planter, I could not be more pleased! The colors and texture of the glaze compliment my "Ocean art gallery" while being the perfect "designer planter" for the tropical arrangement. It's honestly, a classy looking piece of pottery for a great price!
Lastly, I want to compliment the staff at Trendspot out in California! - When the pot went out of stock at Home Depot, I called Trendspot directly, to inquire IF the pot was going to be discontinued, or if they had a possible date for when the pot would be back on the shelves at Home Depot.
I talked to two different reps who were SO NICE! When I told them that I'm a floral designer and freelance decorator, and that I have a project that I desperately needed the planter for,..
All I can say is WOW! The staff at Trendspot did back flips for me! They went out of their way to get specifics as to when the pots would be made and ready. - To my surprise, I got word that an individual pot was being sent to me via Home Depot! That's what you call Customer Service!
Due to my experience, the Trendspot planter is extra special! It's priceless, and I know, not replaceable, so it's a treasured accent piece!

I purchased two of these planters for my succulent plants this spring. The color of the planters are very pretty and true to the picture. I didn’t want a deep pot and this type works well. I have never had planters like this before and I’m very pleased with the design.

This planter is pretty solid, as it's real ceramic with a nice glaze. There's a hole in the bottom center for drainage. I'm not using mine as a planter. I was looking for something exactly like this -- with a bottom hole -- for another purpose. A friend gave me a flower-shaped ceramic bird seed holder that is mounted on a three-foot-high (or so) metal pole. We have an area at the front of our house that I've turned into a sitting area with roses, other flowers and some large oblong planters for tomatoes -- where they get sun!). The "floor" of that whole area is red mulch (over ladscape fabric). There's a bird bath there, and I wanted to add the seed holder, but didn't want seed falling onto the mulch and possibly sprouting, and seed hulls accumulating. This bowl was the perfect solution: I've placed it on the mulch/ground in a strategic spot, then inserted the seed holder pole into the planter's bottom hole. The planter now acts to collect any seed and hulls that drop, and I can empty it whenever necessary. Works well and looks fine. And birds seem happy with it!
