Hi Shhh, thank you for your questions. Yes, the glaze is lead-free. We hope you enjoy the Rivage planter.
Hi Carol, yes feel free to drop in the plant in the nursery pot it came in. Much less messy and easy! Happy Planting!
This planter is 12 inches in diameter and 12 inches high. While the existing Q&A doesn't specify Home Depot brand nursery pots that fit *inside* this planter, it does mention that the base narrows down to about 9 inches. Therefore, a nursery pot smaller than 9 inches should fit inside this planter. You can find a variety of nursery pots at The Home Depot, and I recommend checking the specifications of those pots to ensure a proper fit.
Its net worth in 5yrs is one million. Only goes up from there
Hi LuRoc, Thank you for your question. The Rivage Planter is hand-crafted in China.
I have mine on a roller with wheels and a hard plastic liner in case of a little overflow from the pot
Hi Gardengal... love your name! Cork pads are a great solution to help protect furniture or wood floors from potential moisture and also from scratching. Besides overwatering (unintentionally!), plants may sweat and ceramic and terracotta pots may show condensation, so best to go on the offense. Good luck and happy planting.
Hi Janet, thank you for your question. While the base of the Rivage planter is wider than 8 inches, it's round so it's hard for us to determine if your square inner pot will fit. You may have to use some maneuvering and it may not fit flush with the bottom, but we suggest giving it a try.
It depends. The pot is 12" at the widest point but narrows down at the bottom to maybe 9".
Hi Joni, the 12 inch Rivage Ceramic Planter weights about 18.5 lbs. It's one of our most popular planters and looks wonderful with any type of plant. Enjoy!
