I love the attached drip dish. I don't have to worry about picking up two pieces and dropping one. It makes for a neat looking pot. The pot is a nice green color and the design adds a nice accent. It adds a cheery note to my flower.

What's not to like? This dear little pot will be featured prominently with my other houseplants, I love the cheerful color, (my kitchen is green, too) and it's made well, so I believe my plants will enjoy being in it. I have it setting next to the patio door, where it gets filtered sunlight, and it should be fine. Haven't decided who to plant in it yet, but I'm certain it will be appreciated as one more lovely Home Depot decor piece!

David Brooks 6 inch Diameter Green Ceramic Acorn Bell Pot is a classic round pot style that is well done. It was the perfect size, for my small porch table, not too big nor too small. I prefer the look of ceramic ones here rather than most plastic planters. The color is deep with a nice repetitive pattern, crackle glaze that I enjoy seeing with a blooming flower in it.
The planter and water dish are all one piece. This is misleading in that it does have a drain hole in the pot, but water drains only with mine into a small reservoir in the dish that doesn't empty and if overfilled goes back up into the bowl. The design is excellent when used indoors and its safe on a furniture top as water doesn't spill, if over filled. Not so good if used outdoors where a rain burst could overfill the planter. In this case you have to tip and empty the excess water as with other pots with no drainage. The description should have been clearer on this point. On balance, if you are aware of how its built, it can be a good choice in how you use it.

Textured Ceramic Shaped Pot is covered in a beautiful glaze for a polished look. The glaze work is well done and has a multi-colored dimensional crackly effect that is hard to discern from the online photo. Definitely more impressive in person. Inside of pot has a matte finish. An attached saucer collects the excess water from a center drainage hole that protects against overwatering. Pottery can tolerate extreme temperatures because they are high-temperature fired stoneware. For indoor and outdoor use. Great size for small indoor plants.
