Love the chairs. They would be 5 star except...
Love the chairs. They would be 5 star except I was shorted one nut (out of 4 chairs total). I had ordered 2 Polywood chair previously. Each of those chairs was shorted one screw. I specifically ordered from Trex, hoping to avoid the hardware shortage issue. I knew Polywood makes Trex furniture, and the lack of hardware continued. Interestingly, the boxes and instructions have the Trex logo but the chairs have the Polywood logo and, once again, I was shorted hardware. This is a royal pain because customer service for Polywood/Trex is only open M-F during business hours (wish they had a online request option given constraints on a working person). On the nut issue, I went to HD and found a replacement (tried that on the previous missing screws without success). Going to HD for replacement was easier than calling customer service during working hours, but still an extra trip that shouldn't be necessary given the cost of these chairs.
The chairs are 5 stars. I will order from Polywood/Trex again, but will hold my breath as a count screws and nuts. The chairs are comfortable, and look beautiful sitting around my fire pit. I know from a previous Trex bench that has been sitting outside for 8 years or so that they will wear well. I would highly recommend them, but am frustrated by the inadequate hardware issue that seems to be a very common theme.

I was a little hesitant ordering this product online because the color appeared to me to be almost neon orange in the product photos. I was very pleasantly surprised once I had the chair assembled and placed in the backyard! It looks absolutely wonderful. The material of the "wood" is plastic-y. I forget what the company calls the material but it's very sturdy. It stood up to our big lab trying to eat the legs while assembling it. The assembly was very easy. You don't need to pull out any hardware or tools, as it's all included. If I remember correctly, there was an extra one of each type of screw you needed. Always handy and bonus points when manufacturers do that. The chair comes delivered in 7 separate pieces. The back is already assembled, as well as the seat. You're only responsible for attaching the arms, feet, and weight support in between the feet. 10/10 would get again.

L.O.V.E. I fretted over buying wood Adirondack chairs because of the care involved and the overall low life span. With some research and pontificating, I decided on Trex. Not only are these made in the USA (specifically Indiana--my state!) as well as made from recycled milk jugs (all pluses), these won the contest because of the lack of care needed and the color runs through the material, not an exterior paint job that will crack and peel through the years. No fading. And the color is fabulous! This color makes me so happy and looks awesome by the pool. These are easily assembled and pretty substantial weight-wise. The torrential Indiana winds have no budged these from the pool deck. I definitely recommend these chairs as I fell in love with the first sitting.

Love This Chair
Highly recommending this chair-it may seem expensive but it is worth the investment. We all love to relax in a nice Adirondack chair but the splinters and upkeep in yearly paint/staining is very time-consuming. This very sturdy, comfortable chair is made from Trex polywood lumber which is guaranteed for 20 years not to crack, splinter or fade. This is an all-climate chair so it can function at the shore as well as in heat and cold. I love the cheerful lemon yellow color which is fun and bright but it also comes in 12 other colors to suit your taste. It took me about 1/2 hour to assemble with the tool provided and my simple adjustable wrench. I suggest you look at the directions thoroughly first, as they are only pictorial. I have included pictures which may also facilitate your assembly. The hardware is heavy gauge and the predrilled holes were accurate. It might be helpful to have a second person to hold the back of the chair while tightening the hardware but I did it myself with a support. The box this comes in will be quite heavy so I suggest you carry the pieces to the place where the chair will be located and assemble it there. I expect we will enjoy this Adirondack chair for a great many years- no splinters/no maintenance make this an outstanding product.

Awesome Chair!!!
This is well worth the money. Very impressed with the quality of this piece.Total assembly was less than 20 minutes. Assembly was very easy. The attached instructions were very easy to follow. The unit does get a little warm in the direct sunlight, however once your in the chair or if its in the shade its cool to the touch. The chair is very comfortable,, and the angle of the back is perfect. We are ordering another. Perfect for around our pool. Excellent quality.

Great quality, love the color!
This chair is great! It is very sturdy, looks great, and comfortable. We love the Aruba color - it has a definite tropical/summer vibe that really pops next to our gray siding.
Assembly was easy - there were just 16 screws/bolts I had to drive to put it all together. My only minor complaint (and I'm being very picky) is that they included a premium T-handle allen wrench to drive all the bolts, but didn't include even a cheap wrench to hold the nuts. Why include one but not the other? #FirstWorldProblems

Quality and Comfort
Yes, this chair is pricey...but Adirondack chairs often are and thanks to the Trex materials used to make this one you can be assured that your investment will last much longer than traditional wooden ones. Assembly was easy, took me about 20 minutes to do. You need 1.5 people to assemble this. By that I mean that one person can do it (I did) but there are a few times when a second set of hands would make it much easier. Directions were clear and you have everything you need except a wrench. Once assembled it's quite comfortable! No bells or whistles--it's a stationery design. But, it's a classic for a reason because it's comfortable. Perfect place to sit with a drink in one hand and book in the other. Generous width on the arm rests, nice angle on the back and perfect curve through the seat so that your lower back and butt fit nicely and the back of your calves hit the curving planks rather than an uncomfortable angle. And though the material is not wood, it looks great and feels nice. The material is textured to give the appearance of a wood grain. Once I saw the Trex name I knew this would be a high quality material and I have no doubt now that I've felt and seen it that it will last.

Great chair
I really like this Trex Outdoor Furniture HD Pacific Blue Patio Adirondack Chair. It has all the comforts of a typical Adirondack Chair but less maintenance. I was really pleased at how easy the assembly went, the only additional tool needed that didn't come with it was a 7/16 wrench or socket. At a cost of $300 dollars it is a bit of an investment. The color should not fade because of the material but a cushion will make it more comfortable.
